I?ve visited this Holland & Barrett store many times before, and I?ve always had a good experience?until yesterday. I encountered discriminatory treatment from an East Asian staff member, which I find especially disappointing as I?m East Asian myself.
I simply asked if they had cotton buds, and she responded dismissively with, ?What is that?? Because of her attitude, I didn?t want to continue the conversation, so I asked another staff member and was told they didn?t have any, after which I left.
At first, I thought it might just be her personality. But when I saw how warmly she interacted with other customers, I realized she clearly holds different standards for different people.

I'm always going into my local Holland and Barrett so while I was in town I thought to pop into this one and it was a big mistake, the young woman was bitting her nails while serving customers and could not have been less helpful if she tried, very disappointed as the best part of Holland and Barrett is the staff usually.

Good sized store. Has loads of products stocked. Especially good when they have a penny sale. I buy manuka honey, deodorant and CBD from here.

Well informed and well trained staff. I went there to buy some peppermint oil for some digestive problems, and they asked questions to see which product was the best for me, gave alternatives and also useful tips. I had more help in this store than from my local pharmacy and GP put together.

Member of staff seemed Intoxicated or on medication In that state asked me '' You awrite? '' while I was standing to be served. I said I'm alright and asked her if she was awrite? Then she proceeded to serve another person behind me. I found that offensive and wanted to be served by another staff member thats polite enough to be working with the public. I was standing in the queue of course I needed served but I was " awrite." Later that person claimed she asked me if I needed help but in fact the only words she said to me were '' u awrite? " get some manners
