Nicely hidden gem.

Nice enough cinema but the first hour of Dune I could hardly hear the dialogue especially with people eating and drinking the whole way through. Dialogue did get louder later luckily enough

Sofa seats are hard, small and uncomfortable. Don't recline or anything. Could barely hear the movie until half way through until it randomly got louder.

Cracking cinema, payed extra for the sofas up the back and well worth it.Only issue is you can hear the music from the next door pub and quite parts

This cinema is fancy but flawed.A few years ago this place was refurbished and now it is gorgeous to look at, the walls actually remind me of the Scotsman in Edinburgh. For quite a fancy venue I think it is reasonably priced as well, and it shows a lot of popular movies rather than just art house ones. But the seating has some obvious problems. The big one I think is that the rows are too close together, so it is like trying to climb over someone you are sitting next to on a plane. It is worse than any cinema I have been to before in this respect. On a similar note I would say that, as a plus size person, the seats are quite small. This won?t make a difference to many people, but if you are plus size I recommend getting a sofa instead of an individual seat. Finally, and I?m sure I?m not the only one to say this, the chairs make a fart sound every time you sit down. It?s a bit funny because it is so distinct, but it?s distracting and lets down the class of the place. To be honest, with so many lovely cinemas in Glasgow, I don?t think I would go back, but it still has some great qualities and customer service.

Went to watch a film that uses silence and we could hear music and noise from the bar above. It ruined a film that we were really looking forward to

Acoustics of the film and in the room were not good to begin with and then all the quiet moments were ruined by the sound of bass and Mumford & Sons from the bar attached. Then the lights came on full and suddenly as the film ended. Not a good experience.

Very comfortable, and you can get a drink and take it into the theatre.

First time here, definately not my last, loved it.

The cinema itself is lovely, and the staff were really nice. However, all we could hear throughout the entire film was the music from the bar upstairs, which was ridiculously loud and ruined the atmosphere of the film. So aye, maybe don't go on a Saturday night.

Went with my chum to see the new Ferrari film. First time I've been in since the refurbishment. Friendly staff at the front desk, always helpful. Refurb looks good, comfortable seats and plenty of space. Film audio was loud enough to drown out people whispering to each other but not so loud that my ears hurt. Restaurant is also very good with a decent menu and attentive staff.

Love going here, the best cinema ever and the couches are worth the extra cost. Brilliant atmosphere and a magnificent historical building.Very relaxed and welcoming.

Grosvenor Cinema is just fabulous. The seating layout is so much betterand the quality of films is great.Food and drinks are a tadoverpriced for what they are.But overall I'd highly recommend this cinema over the horrible, soulless multinationals....

Amazing interior and environment which takes you back to a time where movies were truly seen as a night out.Amazing staff who were helpful and accomodating will definitely be back.
