Bestest wee Greggs around. Quality staff who put up with wild customers at times. Every person at that shop deserves a raise - they truly make my wee walk to work in the morning so much better.

This isn't a review on the shop as I'm a staff member. This is a reply to a review that was posted on here last week. The main reasons for this reply is because you have said that the shop needs to be looked at by senior management, well as you used to work for greggs you know who to contact about that but you didn't, but what i really take offence to is the statement you made about the shop staff being racist. The fact of the matter is you're just angry you can't get your own way when you come into the shop and get things that everyone else has to pay for free or exactly what you want when you want it that's just life grow up. I also heard that by working for greggs for the very short amount of time that you did that you have kept the rest of us in a job so my 30 years of service actually don't count for anything lol.if the shop is so bad don't come back and if you do the next time come to one of us if you are going to accuse us of something as horrendous as racism.our shop has been very multi cultural over the years and I'm proud to say it still is.so instead of being a keyboard warrior man up and say it to our faces or like I said previously don't come in at all. All this because you got knocked back for mayonnaise absolute joke ???

Duke Street!!!! 2nd time most shocking service!!! Once again no toasties at about 11am!!! Then given a raw ham and cheese roll, my wedges and a coffee for £5. The manager was dour and unfriendly. The young server clearly very new and apologising all the time because she knows everything happening is wrong. Sadly the roll she gave me is raw. Practically raw dough with a bit of ham on it.
I'm at Springburn branch nearly every single day and their service is top notch. Their food is top notch. ... I am bitterly unhappy about spending £5 on something I could not eat... Duke Street needs a new manager.
I asked for a paper bag because as a disabled person with a mobility issue it's very hard holding onto three things of which one is a hot cup of coffee!!!!
And once again there was a problem. A paper bag has plastic tax on it and I need to pay up or just spill my coffee... why could she not ask me if I would like a bag? Surely you could clearly see there was no way for me to carry my purchase? Why do the other branches get it right?

Was handed a £5 note in my change by the girl behind the counter. This note turned out to be fake which I found out after I tried to purchase some books at a charity shop and the worker tested it with a UV pen and scratch test and it failed both tests. To confirm if it was indeed fake I took the note to the Pawnbroker on Duke Street who confirmed that it was fake in their machine. As you can imagine I was not happy with being given a fake note by Greggs so I proceeded to return it. I was served by a different, older woman who I explained what had happened and she took the note from me and went round the back of the shop with another £5 note. She then left the store to 'put it through a machine' . Unsure where she had gone I had to ask the younger woman where she was going and she said "to Ladbrokes" . Upon her return from the bookmakers she held me the same £5 note claiming it wasn't fake. I asked her what test Ladbroke had done and she said their machine was not available but they could tell by looking at it. I was , of course, totally unsatisfied by this explanation and the solution offered. I gave her the £5 note back and said " you can't guarantee this note isn't fake" to which she replied she handles money every day. So I asked if she was so confident that the note wasn't fake to replace it with the other £5 note she had in her hand which she did. She stormed off back behind the counter with no apology whatsoever at all. I feel this is very poor customer service and disappointed to be met with a hostile approach to a genuine issue. On my way out of the store I said ," thanks for believing me, so much for the customer always being right. She replied with some comments that I didn't quite hear though I got the impression from the tone and loudness of her voice that they were unpleasant remarks. What did annoy me was she continually shouted "bye" sarcastically several times on my way out. Very poor service indeed and I wouldn't mind an apology for the stress of being verbally abused instore with other customers present over a small matter which should have been dealt with a LOT better.Kind regards Robert

Ordered a lot of food from Gregg's that was all different. Every one of my items ware piping hot and fresh. Only thing i would say is i don't think the same pastrys needed different packs could have put 2 in one bag with note to say what was what. Overall very happy with the service i got.
