“Sterling Home situated in Birkenshaw Trading Estate, Uddingston, really offers beautiful furniture for every room. Extremely stylish, modern, hard wearing pieces to suit every room. Prices are on the high side but nevertheless, worth a visit as not everything item is pricey.To the far end of this store you will find a delightful Cafe called Cobbs run by such a happy, friendly, helpful Team! Especially Paul, who is an absolute gem! Nothing is too much for them! No matter how busy (& it does get busy!), a table will be provided for you! Prices are reasonable indeed with such an array of food on offer to suit everyone's dietary requirements.Opening times are as follows;Monday-Saturday, 10am-4:30pmSunday, 10am-3:30pmHot food is normally served until half an hour before closing time.I would recommend going in for a very enjoyable meal!”

“My happy place! Massive store with garden, sheet wood cutting service, tradepoint and building area. Rows of well ordered and stocked shelves of construction DIY materials faced up. Everything from hot tubs, Bbqs, lawmowers, to: lights, saws, plasterboard, bricks and slug killer. Big flat carpark with easy access. Trolleys in good shape, staff are always a delight.”

“Went into the Cumbernauld branch. Staff member Emma is just a happy chappy and working hard in the store. Emma was helping someone else but acknowledged me, letting me know she would be right with me. Thanks Emma, got some items and without reading the instructions, my blinds are now up and looking great. Also spoke with a nice manager Diane. :)”

“Collected my stunning Mustard Bobble bowl today, I'm over the moon with it. I took the time to have a good look around the shop and was blown away with all the beautiful pieces I saw, the items on sale are incredible. As my Bowl was large I couldn't carry anything else but I'll be nipping over from the South Side to the West again next week to grab a bargain. The Young Lady in the store was so friendly and helpful and communications online after I placed my order were superb. Great shopping experience all round.”

“Best (flatpack) home store in the world! We bought a white cupboard which came with lots of options, fitted in a large car in the nicely sized parts. Quality products, great prices. Helpful friendly staff, foods good for eat in and takeaway shop, easy walkaround. Fabulous displays, self service screens in pick up warehouse, easy to find products, a recycle area, option for home delivery, large flat carpark. Charge points for EVs. Other big shops compliment it locally in a nearby retail park. Not easily walkable for most. Immaculate store.”

“Bought double bed silver crushed velvet and mattress on saturday 9th september bed was deliverd on monday 11th september and delivery people were very good at job.must say this any company is also judged on mistakes beand how they fix them and i can say jupiter furniture were more than helpful they arrived on tueday uplifted bed and put another in its place right away due to small issue so thats great service i say id recomend jupiter furniture to any9ne as its first class service”

“Hi there,I won £500 off Allan's furniture warehouse threw Clyde1,I was so excited,I went to to order wood and all the guys are great and very friendly.I ordered my laminate flooring and got a whooping £500 off the price. Their floor fitters came out the week later and fitted my wood,They floor fitters were very fast and very neat. “This shop has been in existence for a very long time in various incarnations. Once called Texas, then Hombase proper then following a time when it could easily have closed, it survived as a scaled back and restructured Homebase.Many of the Staff are locals and have worked at the store for 30yrs plus and are the most helpful and amazingly dedicated people. The younger generation of Staff also follow this lead and you are always guaranteed a smile. We'll almost always but we all have a bad day once in a while.Anyone who has a desire to complain about this store would do well to remember that it is a trusted and valued local outlet and if it wasn't there many folks would struggle to get to B&Q or other stockists. With online ordering and click and collect, you are able to pick up pretty much whatever you need.B&Q are sometimes cheaper because of economies of scale but are always on the edge of town.I have always been very impressed by the levels of product knowledge and customer care shown by the team and I shop there whenever I need DIY goods.Great store.Great staff.Great all round experience.”
