The team really saved us! We went in with a problem on my bike just before our trip, and they did an excellent job fixing it. Super professional and friendly service. I highly recommend taking your bike there for a service

My friend and I went in the morning with an uncommon problem in through axle and they helped us until they fixed it. They were very friendly and they did it for free just to help! Great guys and gave us a solution to the problem! Will definitely recommend the place!

The two men who helped me last wednesday 30/7/25 were so helpful and friendly. My wheelchair tire had got a puncture and the very friendly man, Loren, patched it and re-inflated it for me. The patches were affordable and saved my trip away. Thank you

Lovely service from Alan and conal, my bike stand was stuck, they fixed it promptly. Alan then helped me to purchase a helmet he was very knowledgeable and explained the importance of MIPS, the system is designed to help redirect rotational motion away from the head. This is intended to help reduce the risk of brain injury.
I would recommend the store to every cyclist who wants expert advice and fantastic service!

We popped into Evan?s, Glasgow with our 10 year old looking to buy a new bike. On entering there was a single mechanic working on a repair. We asked where the children?s bike were and were met with a nod in the direction of the stairs.
As my son is between sizes, we had hoped he could try a 24? and 26?, there were no 26?s on the ground, only mounted on racks to the wall. No staff members were available to offer assistance, and ultimately my son didn?t get to try any bikes.
We came back downstairs and no one asked if we found what we were looking for or required any help. We left very unimpressed.
We went straight to Dale?s cycles were the staff were the complete opposite. Could not have been more helpful with our son, they gave him different wheel sizes to sit on, in different frame sizes too, they even offered that he could take the bike he was testing outside onto the pavement - and provided him with a helmet! We ended up spending over £600 instore, by the time we added on some accessories, which Evan?s would likely have had from us had they not been very ignorant and verging on rude.
Save yourself a journey, and get straight o Dale?s cycles in town.

Even worse service that at the Edinburgh shop. Felt like the guys were bothered by the presence of customers wanting to part with their money. Wouldn't be surprised if they are the next high street casualty. Abismal service. I can Google stuff myself. Buy online at another retailer. Save yourself the trip and hassle.

So disappointing. I came to this store fully ready and intending to buy a turbo trainer. I never leave reviews like this but it was so bad. There was no greetings, nobody asked me for help. I stood and looked at the trainers for 10 minutes with no help. I went down and asked for help to be told they didn?t know much about them, that?s okay in itself but atleast some basic information would?ve been nice. I was met with mostly awkward silence, me needing to sell myself the trainer essentially. I said I wanted to leave with it today as I was in an impulse buy mood, and if they had an axel adapter I would take it. I was shocked to learn a bike store doesn?t sell axel adapters. I stood and watched the guy flip through a book to check if it came with it (they almost never do) that?s okay, he tried. The other guy he asked was no use either. To be honest, if they just asked if I?d take the trainer and they could direct me to an adapter else where I would have said yes!! So disappointing, stores like this should be ready to bring a bit of enthusiasm to the biking community, but it was the total opposite.

Went in just after 9am and asked about a certain e-bike and was told by one of two guys working there that there was one upstairs. Went upstairs and had a look around, no effort made to try and sell me a bike or answer any questions so just walked out past the two guys who continued chatting to each other, never asked me how I got on etc, might just as well have been invisible. Won't be coming back, won't be buying a bike from Evans.
