“I recently had laser eye surgery with Optical Express and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish the staff were incredibly supportive, and my surgeon, Dr. Huba Kiss, along with the team in Edinburgh, made me feel completely at ease.

Optical Express were also very accommodating with my situation. I live in Glasgow, so they arranged my surgery in Edinburgh but all of my aftercare in Glasgow, which made everything much more convenient.

The surgery itself was quick, easy, and surprisingly comfortable. During the procedure I couldn’t feel anything at all, just some flashing lights. Afterwards, there was a little blurriness and irritation, but nothing compared to the discomfort I used to get from wearing contact lenses.

The results have been truly life changing. On the very same evening I could already see the TV clearly, and by the next day I was able to drive. Just three weeks later, I went to Alton Towers and for the first time ever I could enjoy every ride without worrying about my contacts drying out or causing irritation.

As someone who constantly struggled with infections and discomfort from contact lenses, being free from all of that has been amazing. The whole process was so much easier than I expected, and I would recommend Optical Express and Dr. Kiss’s team to anyone considering laser eye surgery.”

“I first had insoles made by Andy eight years ago as I was suffering from pain in my back and neck, I had one leg longer than the other. Andy spent time with me explaining what the problems were and how insoles would make a huge difference. As I am a keen walker and runner I was desperate for the pain to go away which it did and I was able to continue with my hobbies pain free. “I have visited this branch many times in the last year, either for an eye problem, my baby's eye checkup or getting glasses. I had wonderful service from everyone. The opticians are great, thorough and make you comfortable. I even returned the first pair of glasses with no problems because I could not get used to the varifocal lenses and I got my current ones that I love. The only issue that I would like to point for improvement is that sometimes there is no answer when calling them, you need to be persistent and wait longer or call again.”
