I preordered a honey cake for my mum's birthday, and it was absolutely delicious ? almost like my grandma's! While I haven't tried anything else yet, I will definitely be back. The smell and appearance of all the baked goods were stunning. Highly recommend!

Literally please someone bring me a Deanston cinnamon bun on my death bed.
Honestly, I?d vote Deanston as best bakery in Glasgow. I have visited the store and ordered online perhaps over 20 times so far and have never been let down. They are seriously good at what they do. The buns are to DIE for and it?s the best sourdough around. The shop has a really lovely vibe with staff always up for a little chitchat. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Didn't try the food today. £7.50 is a bit expensive for a sandwich? Customer service was very friendly though when I bought drinks, nice local selection!

The best sourdough bread in Glasgow in my opinion. Buns and cakes are also amazing, affordable, and the staff are lovely. The bagels are a bit too hard for me personally but there?s usually plenty else on offer.

Amazing scrolls and bagels! What a lovely little find in a back street from the main shopping strip in Shawlands. It's obviously popular, judging by the queue outside the door whenever I've walked past. Nowhere to sit inside but there is an outdoor bench seat.

The best sandwiches in Glasgow. Delicious bread and abundance of flavour and filling. Great selection of babkas and other Ukrainian treats such as layered honey cake. A real asset to the community and such friendly owners and staff.

Update: As a now weekly visitor, I can confirm that it isn't only the honey cake, but the bagels, sandwiches, sourdough breads, buns, pastries coffees, soups etc....
So good EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

For me definitely one of THE best sourdough bread bakery! The bread was so fresh and tasted very good with high quality. Forgot to take a picture, because we finished the half of the bread in one setting :D
