The hotel has a great location if you are visiting an event at the SEC exhibition centre. However, it needs badly a refurbishment.

We stayed to go to a gig, it was so busy but we had a table booked in the restaurant, cut down menu but everything was really good that we had, service was great and the breakfast is brilliant, absolutely no complaints and will definitely be back

Got a wowcher deal. This place is amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Dinner was delish. The breakfast was amazing so many options to pick from. Also had a swimming pool sauna and steam room for guests to use. All round a fantastic place. Would highly recommend.

Booked hotel for a venue at SEC, check in was great had a good laugh with Mohammed, photos, etc. Later went for dinner, pre show unfortunately we had to leave because food was delayed. The hotel was very busy due to World Indoor Athletics Event. We understood this, however Alphonsine was fantastic under the stressful conditions and was more than attentive to us. All the staff were fantastic will book again when back in Glasgow.Rooms: Great roomsNoteworthy details: The staff are fantastic

Things have improved greatly. They now have some fabulous people on the check in desks - a special shout out to Mohamed, professional, friendly, welcoming and a great smile.The only negative is the bar when there's an event on, it really does struggle. The staff are trying their best, but there seems to be no system in place and no manage.
