Passing through Darnley and popped in for some coffee in the drive thru. The girl gave me a great description of cakes to go along with my coffee. Got to the collection point to be greeted with a lovely smile and service. girl with three love hearts tattoo on her wrist was so nice. An absolute Credit to costa highly recommended here x

£100 parking fine despite paying for food and drink!!!!! Tiny car park. No warning from staff regards parking fines. Apparently a tablet is available to log reg bit nobody tells u this when u visit. Customer service state "not the responsibility of staff". Very disappointed, luckily they have opened a Starbucks in Barrhead.....no parking fines!!!!!!

Met friends here just prior to Christmas for a catch-up coffee. The coffee was decent, but shocked to see I?d been hit with a £100 fine as there is a 90minute timescale on how long you can park. (Signage not obvious in the dark) Perhaps I?m naive, but I presumed if you were a customer giving trade to the business then you would be exempt from parking restrictions during your time giving them custom? Costa don?t think so, I?ve tried to contact them a few times but they?re not interested. Presumably there is a lucrative contract signed with the parking management firm. Looking at other reviews, this obviously isn?t an isolated incident. Please beware - go somewhere else for your coffee as customers are being scammed here.

Met here to catch up with someone and spent a lot of time over coffee and food. Two weeks later, have received a £100 parking fine. There may be signs but i wasn't expecting this, so didn't look for any signs as I've been before without any problem. I certainly won't be back.

Didn't see any signs about parking but got a £100 parking fine for being 10 mins over their allowed 1hr 30min parking limit. No comment from staff or sings in the shop about this. Will be choosing one of the many other coffee shops in future

Visited this costa cafe at Darnley on 1st oct 2023 at 3pm, sat in cafe with my daughter and friend had coffee cake and sandwiches, stayed for 1 hr 40 mins, now received a parking charge today for £100 for parking in the costa car park, apparently you only are allowed to park for 1 hr 30 mins so for going 10 mins over I have received a £100 fine! Absolutely furious at this. Didn?t see any signs clearly, very unfair when I was a customer just gng for a coffee and get charged this. Very sneaky. Esp in cost of living crisis to go out for a small treat and it to end up costing £100 in a fine is disgraceful. Shame on costa for allowing this to happen to its own customers, I will never be back.

i wanted a pink drink with one pup of vanilla,and a caramel latte with a extra two pumps of caramel,and a egg sandwich,i wish they were nicer because they kept on saying this wrong shop its COSTA NOT STARBUCKS and i was saying that i know my coffie shops they where being rude by saying go away, stop, hang up. and thats why i left the review thank you.

Asked for large latte and salted caramel cake they had posters of everywhere. No cake and they give me a small latte . Honestly sick of the sub standard service here. Obviously I got charged for a large tho.

The staff at this costa always seem so cheery, it's a nice perk when going through in the morning. Hope they are well rewarded for their enthusiasm.

It's fine. When you sit in to dine / drink in these drive through places the service really is focused on the car drivers and not those inside to the same extent. Always bugs me and is always the case. One person serving compared to three with the drivers. Obviously the service level declines. But fine coffee and ambiance.

Coffee was nice and cake was good. However as a sit in customer service took far too long. No fault of the staff locally, operationally they seem to prioritise "just eat and drive through before sit in. Think I will be moving to NERO for my coffee.

Been closed for nearly a week to sit in.No explanation given.Hand written white paper notes in window .Drive through is open.Starbucks nearby here we come .

I only go here for the coffee, however it is getting rather expensive now. Still the coffee is amazing, the staff are fabulous and always have a smile for us.
