I had bought shoes from Clarks for my daughter. They were very nice, and the design was absolutely stunning. My daughter liked them a lot and said that we will definitely visit this shop again.

I called head office and directed to visit store were i made the purchase. My sons school shoes after 5 months had deteriorated inside beyond acceptable. There was holes in the insoles but the outside of the shoe was fine. The manager was off on Sunday the 17th March the assistant manager i think called Julie was not sympathetic and showed to empathy what so ever. She patronizingly started to count down with her fingers how long we had actually owned the product as it was purchased during the school summer holidays. She came up with a figure of 8 months. then started robotically reading the standard script to me about returns within 6 months only. I then came into the conversation after being repeatidly interupted and counted 5 months of actual wear. Taking summer holidays, October week, 3 Christmas weeks for independant schools and the full Feb week, not to mention numerous other holidays days off. I also highlighted that the state of the shoe had not happened over night but was plain to see had been there for a month or so, hence the 5 months. I asked her if she thought that the length of time my son had actually wore them was acceptable to the condition they were in right now....again i got the robot script. In order to resolve the problem I suggested new insoles at least, she tried them dissapeared then instructed another assistant to charge us the miserable £5 for the privilege. My son is an extra wide fitt hence the reason we have been customers of Clarks for both boys since birth ...thats a lot of shoes! This is the first time we have ever had a quality issue. Clarks I thought pride themselves with quality and customer care. The assisitant manager was not management material going by her customer service skills and neither was the shoes. This type of customer relations will not help a company thats already been bailed out and is on the brink of administration again...

We had a very good experience. The lady that helped us measured the feet of my daughter and explained every step well and clearly. The shoes fit like a glove and are of top quality.

Had really good customer service here today from a woman called Marja(sp?). She was great when measuring my 6 year olds feet and brought out some styles that weren?t on the shop floor that were ideal for what we needed.

Excellent comfortable waterproof walking shoes. Walked 1,000s of miles in last pair. Best get foot size checked which Clarks are good at. Worth the money.
