Clean, bright, spacious modern shop, friendly and informative staff, strong clothes, household/bric-a-brac sections, located near similar thrift shops and the main Shawlands shopping area. Go here for fast fashion, casual shopping and some real bargains

This is an impressive Charity Shop. As Charity Shops go, this is one of the better examples.

Well, well, well.....i am suitably impressed. As charity shops go in this area, this one is one of the better examples, and given the quality of some of the others, that's a pretty good thing to say. With a pretty damn decent collection of gear with good pricing, clean products and a limited selection of dead man's clothes, its a definitely worth a gander. Add to this a fine selection of wellpriced books from a wide range of genre..not just old woman romance....and you have yourself a fine example of classic charity shop shopping.

This charity shop is worth a visit: apart from a recent trend to label half the stock vintage (Next, for the record, are not yet in this market), they have a good stock of clean, well pressed and diverse second hand clothes. And while it lacks the bookish charm of an Oxfam, the selection of books is large and comprehensive. I have picked up everything from academic text books to blockbusters here, as well as some good graphic novels. Apart from the second hand clobber, they also stock new gifts, usually involving lavender. There is a running sale of incense, at half the usual price, ornaments made specially for Cancer Research and a range of storage boxes for jewelry or other small items. And while I can't judge their quality, they do have a glass cabinet of jewelry items that are worth a look if you do want something that might well be vintage.
