The location of this coffee shop is perfect with its location being central, the shops interior is welcoming with its extra comfy seating & artistic theme, coffee is brilliant with staff being attentive & friendly. However it?s let down by its cleanliness of the toilets which were poorly maintained. Grime, stains, hairs & dust in the toilet over the wall, bin, pipes & toilet itself. This is also a reflection of peoples personal hygiene not having the respect to clean after themselves to reduce the toilets current state.

The boy who served us could only be described as dismissive, uninterested and poorly presented, wearing as he was dirty grey joggers. Poor from him, let?s do better guys

Ive had good and bad experiences here.
The bad was a half filled cup-actually half full.
Also was given a drink a few times without the sleeve to prevent your hands being burnt.
Had to ask for a fork after ordering takeaway cake a few times and seemed to be a troublesome request.
The good was efficient service and the cakes are always nice.
In a very busy street and there?s usually a big queue when I go in but that?s standard for a busy coffee shop.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor no ramp needed

Slow, slow slow. Over 10mins in the queue (4 people) to get served and it wasn't even busy. People walking out due to slowness. Only 2 baristas, needs more for a city centre.

Service is so terrible, have to wait for over 10 minutes even when I have ordered ahead with the app. The servers don?t care to check the mobile orders till you remind them. And they always mess up the order too.

Nice, cozy and spacious, but quite dirty cafe. Coffee was good, prices are ridiculous.

Caffè Nero, branch at 63 Argyle Street.
Lots of used/dirty tables that hadn?t been cleared or cleaned. 2 sulky looking staff behind the counter, 1 a bearded gentleman that I couldn?t hear a word he said, and the other a heavy-set lady that was just on her phone?continually.
Once I had my purchases I did manage to find an available table but it hadn?t been wiped yet. I had to ask if it could be cleared and wiped down for me, and it immediately was. The cutlery available was grubby to say the least, and I had to be choosy in selecting both a knife and teaspoon.
Tables were not being cleared/cleaned as customers vacated them. There were only 2 customers at the counter waiting to be served so I could see no real reason for this. I sat for approx a half hour with a tea and a pastry and the lady did eventually come out and start on the tables but she seemed to want to just do them all 1 after another in 1 sweep, instead of as customers vacated them. This used to be 1 of my favourite places to people watch when in the city, but the entire place just felt a bit sad and looked pretty grubby.
When I was finished my break I asked for the key to use the toilet and was told quite abruptly that this was for ?customers only?. She did not even acknowledge that I had been sat right in front of her for the last 30mins or so, as a customer, and was now ready to leave, thus leaving her yet another table to be cleaned.
She did not seem to be interested in what was happening or was needed on the shop floor and was just continuously distracted by her phone. Whatever was happening on her phone was clearly of much more importance and required her full attention.
This was on a Friday around 1pm and has been absolutely my very worst experience of any branch of Caffe Nero?.ever.
I suggest they implement ?secret shoppers? randomly as this branch is sadly not up to their usual standards.

Had been to this cute cafe in St Enoch Street, Glasgow. The croissants and coffee was good (not the best that I had, but was fine). Had a completely differently look from outside and looked more like a mini-castle!

Great service and unfortunately I spilt my frappe and my nieces milk. Guys cleaned up the mess, made me another order and brought it over to the table. I was so sorry I gave them more work to do.

Today went in for coffee at around 10.50am, asked about toilet key but Hey Presto, NONE available as it needs repairs. Husband had to go to M&S store for facilities...Bad Show.

It's an ok place to drink your coffee except when the American batista shouts about what time the shop closes at the top of her voice then walks away and leaves the other batista to serve along line of customers. Shouting at customers isn't a good thing. No wonder there were a few odd looks from the customers, myself included.
