I regularly shop in charity shops around the whole of Scotland due to my job so I get a very broad idea of what most of them charge for items and Bernardo?s has to be one of the most expensive places I?ve ever been in. It?s so expensive in their shops now I have to actually scan every item I?m interested in just to make sure I?m not being ripped off because most of their prices are more expensive than eBay which I?m assuming is how they price their goods in the first place. At least with eBay the seller has actually checked the item to make sure everything is in the box a charity shop worker here just sticks a label on the box and hopes for the best but still charges for the same price with none of the effort. Your items are donated free and are suppose to help your local community which at these prices won?t be shifting fast unless your lucky enough to have vulnerable people coming in not realising how unrealistically expensive your items are compared to everyone else. Please sort your companies prices out to be more realistic and trust me I?m not the only one noticing how ridiculous your prices are becoming.

Not interested staff said they weren't accepting any donations as they were full, a waste of time and fuel getting there. Different story in the Duke St shop where the clothes donations were gratefully accepted.

Tesco diapers sold for 3 pounds whereas it?s 2.18 at Tesco store. Mostly expensive items, sometimes they?re cheap too

I?m so disappointed - random balls if wool £2- cheaper on Amazon! Habitat kids bed cover £10!!!! - same price as habitat selling. I?m sure others, like me, donate all the time thinking someone can get what they need at a low price. Not the case. Company needs to consider reviewing what?s happening regarding prices in this branch

Very expensive. Some items dearer than original retail prices and don't forget that their stock comes in as donations.
