I've been with bank of Scotland for a long time but this place is very bad stuff are very rude unhelpful my card doesn't work so I wanted it renewed so I showed my ID everything but I have recently moved so they asked me for a new address which I give still couldn't get my new card sent bad bad service management terrible stuff and professional and unqualified I recommend to go to the Victoria road Bank of Scotland because they have much better service this place sucks

Cashier was so helpfull in understanding my problem. And asked me to wait in the customer sitting area. A nice gentleman helped and understood my problem with my account and I was so welcomed. Great guy who helped me solve my issues.

I went to the Shawlands branch with my two children and the lady, she was a young black woman, was there at around 12:30 on the 5th of December. Her attitude was terrible. She was very dismissive. She had little manners and seemed like she was fed up from even the smallest of requests. She was quite selective with who she was polite with, it seems. Most workers are very polite there, and even when they can't help you, they are kind about it. She just looked annoyed at any request.

I went in to take money out but it was a bit more complicated because a member of the branch had to make a phone call before the funds could be released.
The staff as others have mentioned were unhelpful, rude, chatting amongst themselves and making it quite clear that I was just annoying them.
I asked for the manager and he was the same. I try and avoid going into this branch at all costs.

Shawlands, Glasgow branch- awful! 1 cashier, 8 people in queue, while 4 other staff members walked about chatting and laughing with each other ignoring the customers. When questioned why another staff member couldn't serve I was told it was impossible!

Terrible customer service. My son tried to pay a cheque in at the teller and was told he had to use the machine after queuing up. My son needs extra support and was refused this by the teller and manager both. Disrespectful and awful branch.

The BOS are clearly skint and don't seem to prioritise the Shawlands branch at all. Extremely understaffed and always queued no matter what time of the day. Albeit some of the staff are friendly the place is basically falling apart and it can take 20 minutes to complete the simplest of tasks.Need some regional managers in to give this place a spruce and sort things out asap... or just stick to Barclays.
