A beautiful Indian restaurant in the west, tucked away down Ashton Lane!
We started the night with crispy, light popadoms and a perfect spiced onion to accompany, then a mixed pakora platter (first time tasting haggis pakora and it was a favourite), as well as a chicken masala poori (YUM - the masala was a perfect mix of sweet and spicy).
For our mains, we selected the crowd-pleasing Chasni (perfectly creamy, tangy and sweet) and we tried the spicy lamb jaipuri, which turned out to be our favourite of the two, with a flavour that packed a punch!
Great atmosphere, warm decor and top-notch service from the wait staff. We will be back!

Such a great meal in Ashoka! It?s the best food I?ve had near the university, all the dishes are amazing delicious, highly recommend butter chicken and coconut nan??? I have to say the service is also caring and friendly, thank you for making my day!!!
