I visited the Apple Store in Glasgow (Buchanan Street) on 14-08-2025 at 13:45 to replace the battery of my iPhone 14 Pro Max, which was fully functional before the service. When I collected it at 17:10, I noticed a new white line on the display that was not there before.
When I returned to the store to request an inspection, the staff did not even check the device. Instead, they immediately blamed a third-party repair without any verification or evidence.
What made the situation worse was their humiliating attitude ? they treated me as if I were a criminal, repeatedly asking me to leave the store in a disrespectful manner and even threatening me multiple times instead of listening to my complaint or trying to resolve the issue.
When I got home, I discovered that the device?s frame was not properly sealed, with a visible gap ? clear evidence of negligence during the service and a lack of seriousness in handling my device.
This was a terrible experience that combined technical negligence with unacceptable customer service.
I would strongly advise against dealing with this branch

Unfortunately, this branch has a lack of customer service representatives, lack of equipments for devices services and rude of customer service asking us to move from a table to another table.

Brilliant customer service! Thank you to Mick, Billy and Ryan for your help in upgrading to my new iPhone and trading in my old one. I visited the store 3 separate times (through choice) and each of these guys could not have been nicer/more helpful. I left with a new phone/money back for my old one and a great impression of the Apple Store ???

Second visit to have my AirPod Pros looked at due to a loss of noise cancellation, having previously run out of time due to the appointment running late.
After a prolonged wait, I?m told my AirPods are defective ?like all generation ones are? despite being in ?very good condition? and are unable to be repaired, and, as they are outwith the one year warranty, they won?t be replaced either. I point out I have five years under consumer rights and wish to speak to a manager. An exceptionally rude manager appears and agrees I?m entitled to have them replaced on that basis but claims I never bought them from Apple, despite having an email receipt from?the ?Apple Store!?
Manager refused to budge, so I complain to Apple directly who then agree to repair or replace them. Receive them back within a week fully repaired with all delivery costs paid by them.
Don?t believe a word anyone in this store says. Shame on you Apple Glasgow!

I had excellent assistant last week from Mario( maybe Marcus!) who was so patient and respectful to my lack of knowledge! He went above and beyond to help me calling on assistance also from Jarrard to enable me to access special photos from my phone and finally Laura in the Genius Bar who helped pair my Apple Watch to my phone. I was probably in the shop for about 2 hours and witnessed only professionalism and kindness! Fantastic team! Thank you Monica Currie
