Great place for a last stop for beer and cocktails. Never tried the food but seen it and looked AMAZING so would definitely go

Had the set menu, haggis croquettes lacking flavour. Ordered the d-rump medium rare, it was overcooked but the sauce and the chips are very good. Ganache as dessert is very good.

Great cocktails... although they've put up the prices quite substantially
Alston Bar & Beef is named after the long forgotten main street of Grahamston village so enter the main entrance of Glasgow Central Station on Gordon St & Alston's discreet door is on the left just past the coffee shop. Follow the stairs down to the underground arches and a bar with a wide range of gin, each uniquely garnished & served to perfection. Glaswegians are spoilt for choice when it comes to great places to eat & Alston serves the top 1% of beef on the market. Choose from a selection of 28-35 day dry-aged steaks, including the Chateaubriand to share or Glasgow’s favourite, the fillet. Our beef is carefully chosen from accredited farms from the Tweed Valley each renowned for producing quality beef, full of flavour & tenderness.
