I always liked Allans for their products and no nonsense sales however i have developed a fault on one of my products and despite me contacting them various means multiple times, it appears they are disinterested in helping resolve this. It proves that their service is only present until delivery and once that's concluded they don't want to know you until the next sale. Although disappointing it has alerted me to not only consider product and cost but also the aftercare when making furniture purchases in the future.

I've shopped with Allan's for more than 20 years. Consistently high standards of quality, service and value for money. I highly recommend Allan's. Delivery guys go above and beyond.

We purchase a fairly expensive leather suite, and unfortunately it developed a fault. The main man John D dealt with our problem efficiently, professionally and promptly. He was on the ball from the get go. We can?t praise hIm, or the store highly enough. Our issues have now been resolved, and as a small business owner, I can honestly say I hope my staff are as good as these guys. Thank you for all your help, and we will absolutely shop at the store again. 10 out of ten.

I recently ordered a new sofa combination from them. Great customer service. fantastic range. Great selection of sofa's. leather and fabric. also they sell other items of furniture. definitely recommend them.

Ordered the Trieste corner suite back in June. Was told 12 weeks . Now at 16 weeks and have been told now estimated end of December. What other company takes over £2k of your money and you have to wait nearly 7 months for delivery??. They told me a few weeks ago that it was in a container in transit and would be another couple of weeks.. All lies and excuses.. still advertised on their website as 6-8 week delivery.. my hubby is terminally ill and needs a comfy sofa as he is up all night.. TOTAL SHAMBLES of a company. AVOID!!!!

Don?t waste your time ordering. Lack of customer service. Ordered a wardrobe & almost 9 weeks later I was told the supplier couldn?t fulfill it due to it being a single unit order. Why did it take this long to find this out, who knows ! Cheers for that John

I got a chair from the leather side and it was good quality, good price and good customer service.Got a sofa from the fabric side and my experience was a joke. I would avoid the whole place in future based on that experience.Practically the first thing I said to the salesman was I need the sofa to go upstairs, will that model be fine? He was completely confident it would, no further questions about the layout, no advising to go home and measure. So we ordered, 12 weeks later the sofa comes and does not fit up the stairs. I phoned and spoke to the salesman and delivery guys were advised to take it back. The salesman said he'd get back to me on what happens next.About a week later, he calls with a plan but wants the delivery guys to come back and check a specific piece will fit up the stairs as with the new configuration it will be the largest. They come and leave it behind. I then get a call saying they need to come take it back- meaning I had to stay in waiting for them twice, they don't do delivery time slots.I don't hear from them again so I call and get told we'll need to pay another £200. I tell them no chance given the inconvenience caused and they never brought that up again.5 months after I first ordered the sofa, one which does fit up my stairs arrived. As the delivery guys were putting together the modules they thought it didn't fit together and were about to call the office. I took a quick look at it and found the problem for them and everything was fine.It's a perfectly good sofa at a reasonable price but they do seem to be hopeless. Once when I called for an update, I described the situation over the phone and the person said 'oh yes, you're Mr X' and I am not Mr X so apparently I'm not the only one having these issues.

Large store, good selection, though I did eventually buy one under the railway arches. Store assistant didn't seem to think there were other furniture shops in the vicinity, there are a few indeed!
