A woman blond hair small and looks to be somewhere between 30 and 50 I have witnessed 2x this woman be aggressive to my friends as a customer we all have put ourselves down to be witnesses for the trading standards and we have sufficient proof after she had called them names and made fun of them we decided to record due to this being highly unprofessional we have sent the voice records to the trading standards to. From what I can tell this can only be racially motivated or homophobic as we have moved here from different countries and one of us is gay I don't know for sure about the homophobic part but definitely racially motivated after this last encounter we have all been adviced to avoid contact with her till they contact her but we will be taking further action as this Is a disgrace - thank you to Callum the manager for his help as we have been looking for someone for a while now in this shop to help us in assistance with this woman.

My boyfriend has been subjected to what appears to be a hate-motivated incident involving ongoing harassment by a woman at this store. We have made repeated efforts to identify her and are now preparing to take further action. We also encourage others who have had similar experiences with this individual to share their accounts.

Report Regarding Ongoing Issues with a Staff Member ? Assistance from Manager Callum
I would like to begin by commending Callum, the manager, for his professionalism and willingness to assist in this matter. If I could rate based on his support alone, I would gladly give more stars. However, due to an ongoing issue with a specific member of staff, I have taken the step of contacting Trading Standards.
Unfortunately, I have been advised not to approach this staff member directly to avoid any potential escalation. The individual in question is a woman who appears to be between 30 and 50 years old, with white or blonde hair. Due to company policy, I understand that staff names cannot be disclosed, which I respect. Callum has kindly offered to assist Trading Standards in identifying the individual based on the information provided. I have included detailed notes with specific dates, times, and descriptions of the negative interactions I?ve experienced with this employee, whose attitude and conduct have been consistently unacceptable.
What has happend:
Incident 1: Sunday, 8th June 2025
On this day, my friends and I went to buy alcohol. While my friends showed their ID without issue, I did not have mine with me. Despite this being a reasonable situation, I was humiliated when the staff member proceeded to talk loudly to her coworkers about us, making comments such as we were ?dressing ridiculous.? I find this behaviour unnecessary and unprofessional.
Incident 2: Sunday, 6th July 2025 at 17:20
On this occasion, after leaving my boyfriend at the train station, I entered the store to buy four cans of Tennents. I realised I had left my ID at home and informed the staff member. She responded with hostility, telling me that if I came back again, I would be banned, despite having previously shown my ID. When I asked why I was the only person she was ID-checking, she accused me of having an attitude, which I was not displaying. Even after agreeing calmly, she proceeded to call me a ?dickhead? as I left the store.
I work for the NHS in fire safety and this is no way to treat someone who works with the NHS
If nothing gets done about this I will be forced to go to citizens advice and other means of assistance in this situation. We have audio proof as I was mid way through a conversation me and my friends were recording to our other friends in Edinburgh. I hope the store will take action upon this.

Dear [Store/Customer Service Team],
I?m writing to share an uncomfortable experience I had during my visit to your store today at around 3:45 PM.
After scanning my products, I gave a friendly wave and smile to a staff member nearby, simply to seek assistance. However, her response was unexpectedly rude ? she said, ?I know you need assistance, but don?t wave your hand,? in a sharp tone. Even after I apologized with a smile, her demeanor remained cold and dismissive.
As someone who also works in the hospitality industry, I understand how important respectful communication is, even during busy or stressful moments. This interaction made me feel quite uncomfortable and disrespected, which is not something I?ve experienced at your store before.
I wanted to bring this to your attention not out of complaint alone, but in the hope that it will be taken constructively. You may review the CCTV footage if needed, where you can see my smile and polite gesture.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope such situations can be avoided in the future.
