Achilles Heel had the best price on the shoes I was looking for. Unfortunately on my first run in them they lost integrity (not the retailer?s fault), but AH customer support was very good and they helped resolve the issue.

I'm a novice runner who went in looking for a shoe that would offer me a little more support than the pair I am currently wearing.
I was served by Emma who was brilliant. She did the normal checks, looking at my gait without shoes on etc and then was able to offer me multiple shoes to try on. With each pair I tried she gave her opinion on the fit to assist in my purchasing decision as well as being able to answer my general running questions that you would expect a beginner to have. I was then served by another member of staff at the till whose name I didn't catch, but she too was very positive and enthusiastic.
I will be wearing my new shoes around the house this evening to double check they're the right fit for me, but I couldn't have asked for a better service. 5 stars, will be back ?

Tried a set of trainers on my child, ran from one side of hall to the other, sent back as they were collapsing. This was within 2 days of delivery. They would not refund- taking up with card company. Never had this problem when buying direct from Nike, Asics, Saucony and i buy trainers very regularly. My advice is buy direct.

Awesome place great service very helpful Bought pair of Hoka Bondi 9 and l love them! Added another pair of Hoka Mafate 5 love them comfortable that?s 2 pairs purchased in 3 weeks Going back soon to add another pair of Sneakers highly recommended this place.
