We had a beautiful stay.Staff exceptional particularly the welcome & the staff at breakfast . Breakfast is delicious and so was the fish and chips in the club house. I feel the food in the main building could do with a little change the steak was very tough and the soup and afternoon tea were nice but not to the Standard we expected.

This is a beautiful hotel with amazingly attentive staff. The view from the hotel is stunning and the rooms are large and comfortable. We ate in the 1906 restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast had the most fantastic choice of food (probably the best 5* breakfast I?ve had). We didn?t use the SPA so can?t comment. If I was to be picky I?d criticise the lifts - not very clean and looked very uncared for. I also feel it would be appropriate to have a no jeans and trainers policy in the restaurant as I felt this let down the whole ambiance and experience.

Fantastic !! We had a two night stay here as a family and were not disappointed. As soon as you arrived the porters were straight there to take your car and luggage. Our room wasn?t quite ready so we went for some lunch at the golf club restaurant which was very nice. The porters take you down to the golf club in there Courtesy vehicles which you can call any time to manoeuvre around the resort which is very handy as it is a rather big place. when we came back up we were shown to our rooms. I had an ocean view twin and mum and dad had an ocean view king. Both rooms were fantastic and very comfortable. We went to the pool which is a lovely area to relax with a bio sauna in the main area and a private steam room and sauna in both male and female changing rooms. The breakfast at Trump Turnberry is incredible. The continental selection is absolutely plenty. If you?re not fancying a hot breakfast, anything from pastries and yoghurt, to home-made smoothies, muesli, cheeses etc etc. The bar area is very nice and relaxed, and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The drinks menu is rather pricey. However, you expect this at such a lovely hotel and it?s not a problem whatsoever. The view from the bar is also lovely overlooking the sea and over to the Isle of Arron on a clear day. My only bit of constructive criticism with the room is it would be nice to have a little fridge for personal bottles of water. There is it fully stocked minibar which is automatically charged when you move something out of it, meaning if you have a bottle of water, you would need to get an ice bucket to keep it chilled as there is no other way. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be returning to Trump Turnberry.

This has been on our bucket list for a very long time and finally it has been ticked! It did not disappoint! The staff are what makes Turnberry! They are amazing! They cannot do enough for you! They took all our luggage to the room and parked the car! Then collected it on departure, packed the car and brought the car to the main foyer, You are surrounded by luxury and the finest things in life, although 117 years old it is very well presented and very well maintained! I spent the afternoon in the spa, it was so relaxing! I had a marine back treatment, then some relaxation in the quiet room followed by a swim and sauna/ steam room, our room was luxurious with bottled water, tea coffee machine, toiletries and slippers for both of us, the bed huge and comfortable, the heating system easy to work, a huge TV, and huge shower/bathroom, dinner was lovely but the breakfast was a whole other wonderful experience, and again the staff could not do enough for you, I feel so blessed we were lucky enough to have the privilege to stay here our expectations were exceeded for sure 5 ??

Wry much enjoyed the stay but it?s not the same as it used to be We are long time returning guests. On this occasion the visit was for our 45th wedding anniversary. We were given an upgrade on arrival to a beautiful sea view deluxe room, the room was lovely and very comfortable. The spa has had an overhaul and was very nice and relaxing. Cannot fault the concierge staff (Stuart) who was amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was great as usual with loads of choice and great setting the staff on during our stay were excellent. However? Dinner service-despite reception confirming our dinner reservation on arrival we got to the desk at 1906 and the girl announced she did not have our booking. She then proceeded to show us to a table in the corner beside the fire exit for our meal. The restaurant only had three tables in for dinner, we asked another server to move to a better table which he did. It was pretty off putting. Any time we stay we previously got a nice personal note from management and few sweets in the room. Didn?t happen on this visit. We had cocktails in the bar-no nuts/mix etc offered and no follow up asking if the drinks were ok. In our room there were tea making facilities but mo biscuits?? On this visit we felt the hotel had lost it?s usually impeccable service and left slightly disappointed about the experience.

This was the 6th year on the bounce that I was fortunate enough to stay at Turnberry and play both courses. Sadly the weather was not kind to us with 40mph winds and roving rain on successive days. I believe this is most usual great service all round big shout out to caddie Frankie

We visited as part of an Itison offer with leisure facilities and treatments. The treatments were actually good but the other facilities were really below average. We'd called the night before to reconfirm the booking. When we visited the jacuzzi was broke, the 2 hydrotherapy jets were broke. The infrared sauna and the steam room were not hot though operational. The doors were wide open to the garden so the pool area was cold, meaning you couldn't relax by the pool. There were no staff in the pool area to raise this with. We had arrived early to use the facilities but were cold, wet and had little to do. After nearly 2 months we finally get a response from the general manager who claims there 98 guests in the pool that day, which is laughable and all enjoyed it except us. Not sure Ralph Porciani knows this to be honest. He also states that as there is no guarantee that the jacuzzi will work as such they don't mention it in any literature. Ralph there was a photo of it on our voucher and on the Itison website! They also had ran out of tea to serve after the treatment, this is meant to be a 5 star hotel. Its a total joke. But then look at owner!

A luxurious hotel in a magnificent location, a golf lover's paradise, with impeccable and friendly service. The restaurants are up to par, in short a stay not far from perfection.

Stayed 1 night during our 3 week driving holiday around the UK staying at 5 star hotels along the way. Truly 5 star in everyway. Amazing property. Luxury on the highest scale. More 6 star than 5. Staff were amazing. Room was mind blowingly magnificent. Bed was huge, room was huge. Luxury everywhere you looked. The whole experience was outstanding. Don't need to be a golfer to enjoy this property. Breathe taking scenery surrounds the hotel. A trip highlight.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel during a golf trip and were blown away by it. It was fantastic. We had high expectations, and they were greatly exceeded. The setting of the hotel is breathtaking at the top of a hill overlooking the sea, the Ailsa Craig and the world-famous Ailsa Course. We arrived on Friday afternoon with a very friendly reception. It was very apparent from the moment when we stepped across the threshold that we were in for a very luxurious and special experience. We upgraded to a signature suite which was immaculately and beautifully appointed. The bed incredibly comfortable and the marble bathroom enormous and luxurious in every aspect. Shortly after our arrival, a Scottish bagpiper was playing on the front lawn in front of the hotel. A bagpiper played for 30 minutes at 6:30 p.m. every evening and we looked forward to it each afternoon. Many other guests gathered in the hotel?s café/lounge to enjoy the bagpiper. Another outstanding aspect of the property was the service. Everyone we encountered from the staff to the concierge to the porters was pleasant, polished and helpful. We ate all the restaurants and the food and service at each was excellent. We canceled off property dining arrangements in favor of remaining at the hotel for dinner because the food and service were so good. The spa and fitness facilities are also deserving of special mention. We were very impressed with the facility and friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff and the therapists. We played golf at the spectacular Ailsa course. Of the 9 storied and world class courses we played during this Perry Golf trip, Ailsa was the unanimous favorite among our group. We got to chat with the Director of Golf about all of the improvements that were made to the Ailsa course by the Trump organization which purchased this tired property in 2014 and the amount of money they put into it was enormous. The result was spectacular. One of the guests in our group stayed there shortly before the Trump renovations and was blown away at the transformation. It is so satisfying for us to find a hotel and resort where everything was so impeccably on point. We look forward to returning.
