Lovely place, which we stopped at on our way to Skye. We had a dog friendly room in the courtyard, which had its own entrance (perfect for us). The room was spacious and clean and had a huge bed which was great. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were lovely. Staff were welcoming and so hard working. I?d definitely recommend this place.

Very clean and tidy hotel run by a Romanian family who can't do enough for you.The food is highly recommended, all home made, even the chips.I had the Hunters burger that's made with a mix of pork, venison and beef, you couldn't find a burger with more flavor anywhere.Rooms: Small but spotless.

A lovely inn quite literally in the middle of nowhere. Great food. A mix of traditional and Romanian dishes. Room well appointed, clean, tidy. Great walk in shower. Friendly staff. Worth a stop for food or overnight. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly.

From the minute we arrived to our farewell we were made to feel welcome. Great staff, wonderful food and a beautifully appointed room. The dogs were made to feel welcome also and it was lovely having them with us enjoying their adventure also. We will be back as due to the weather we didn?t bag the hill we wanted to ?????? but it is a great excuse for another stay at this lovely hotel

Great place for an overnight stop if you are travelling to/from Ullapool. The rooms are clean , comfortable, warm and thoughtfully decorated. The food is excellent -although sorry to see the haggis balls no longer on the menu as they were amazing. There is plenty of parking and it is dog friendly . The staff are all lovely and very welcoming.

Poor value for money, like most places on or around the North Coast 500, and hardly a destination in itself (it?s in the middle of nowhere) but considerably better than expected. It?s run by a cheery and characterful young Romanian fellow and his partner. The food is surprisingly good - a few inexact flavours here and there, and too much reliance on a shake of dried herbs from the spice rack, but a large salmon fillet was cooked to perfection and the home-made bread was tasty too. Twin room was tiny but scrupulously clean and the shower had good water pressure. Overall not too bad at all.

Quick summary: my review is based on what I expect of a casual B & B. Very comfortable room. Spotless housekeeping. Nice toiletries. Very good on-site restaurant and pub with a wide menu. Very friendly, helpful, professional staff. The place feels freshly renovated. We used this inn as a base for touring the area for four nights. We stayed in room C1, which has two very comfortable twin beds pushed together and good pillows. Frankly, this suited me well? we have a king bed at home, but the DBH (Dear Beloved Husband) tends to yank the covers. I was happy to have my own duvet. Loved the Scottish wool tartan throws on the beds - very cozy and felt like the highlands. Storage area has a number of open shelves and closet. Rather than bedside tables, a shelf runs the length os the room as a bedside headboard to catch your assorted stuff. OMG!! There was a mini fridge in the room! After three weeks in hotels in Scotland (including a few quire upscale, ) this was the only hotel with a little fridge in the room. While I don?t expect this convenience in every hotel I stay in around the world, it?s nice for an American to have a chilled beverage or leftover pizza at hand. There is also a sofa in the room. The bathroom feels freshly renovated: roomy shower; an array of nice boutique toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, body lotion; fresh towels; heated towel rack. TV and heating work well. No AC, as is typical in this climate, and we did?t feel the need for it. Coffee/tea maker, and biscuits in the room. Complimentary wifi worked mostly well, but better in the public rooms than in our room. I chalk this up to the highlands factor, more than the hotel. Spotless housekeeping. In a perfect world, there would be luggage racks, but none around. Easy parking out front. We really enjoyed having a very good restaurant and pub on site. After long days of driving and hiking around, it was so nice to just mosey over for a very good dinner. Highly recommend that you dine here, even if you aren?t staying here ? on the main road between Inverness and Ullapool. They also do Sunday roast, but check in advance. The menu ranges widely, and we were able to sample a fair amount of it. There are the usual Scottish suspects (starters, soup, salmon, venison, pasta, burgers?) but also some delish Eastern European dishes (cabbage rolls, goulash, meat rolls, soup?, ). All was fresh and tasty, with good talent in the kitchen. (Okay, I prefer a burger without a pretzel bun, but you might ask for a switch.) We especially loved the stuffed cabbage, but we were happy with all our meals. They make a very good pizza, and I usually don?t trust places outside of an Italian neighborhood to do a good job on pizza. Full bar with a nice range of whiskeys, spirits, beers, wines by the bottle and various sizes of glass. Very reasonable prices. This is the kind of place that will set your bottle aside for the next day if you don?t finish it. Breakfast is also good ? a buffet of hot and cold items, cereals, juices, coffees, teas, yogurt, etc. Both the dining room and pub have a cozy in-the-highlands feel, and the pictures of this historic in are interesting. The innkeepers could not be more helpful, friendly, and professional. So ? highly recommended for a laidback stay. We?d be happy to return.

From the moment we arrived until we left, it was a great stay. We arrived early for checkin but as the weather was terrible we rang the bell and were given access to our room. We were doing the NC500 by motorcycle so had nowhere to hide from the elements having already ridden through rain several times. They had a great drying room for all our gear to be hung up. The staff were fantastic throughout. Dinner was unbelievably good and breakfast was equally good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling through this area.

Lovely, stylish rooms. Great quality products. Fantastic walk in shower. Good breakfast. Great rooms for staying with the dog as they opened out into a courtyard and there was a path for a walk. Really nice stay.

The best food ever! Their chef is doing some magic in the kitchen. The Romanian food is the best ever! Also, rooms very cosy. It is a pleasure to go back there. I have been 3 times already. Very quiet area, and the host is amazing. They are very welcome
