I'm coeliac and they did me proud. A lovely, thick toasties that tasted amazing made with cheese and a fruit chutney. Lots of GF cakes as well.

Popped in here for lunch on Saturday. Excellent food, service a bit slow but well worth the wait. Dog friendly, pleasant staff. I would highly recommend the chicken curry.

Myself and my wife visited Gala for the day, we went to the Bakers for some goodies to take home, we asked the lady behind the counter if she could recommend any place that we could dine and straight away she said Quins, so we headed straight for Quins, we were met by a lovely friendly lady who showed us to our table for two, i chose the Breaded Haddock and Chips and my wife really enjoyed the curry Chicken. The Restaurant itself was very clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are ever in Gala I recommend you give Quins a go you will not regret it. It really made our visit to Gala more special. Thanks Quins.

Food was decent but the service and the wait between courses wasn't the best.
Father in law ordered steak pie, potatoes and veg. Potatoes were forgotten and the veg was roasted Mediterranean veg which was 90% onion - not what you expect with a British dish. There was no vegan shepherd's pie which left one option of pasta or a jacket potato which I was advised could come with tuna when I asked what the fillings were... perhaps more training needed on what vegan and vegetarians eat might be an idea!
Dessert for 2 of our table was chocolate Sundae which we waited a long time for and when it arrived most of the ice cream had melted. No option given for vegan dessert which was annoying.
The older waitress appeared grumpy and harassed although the restaurant wasn't overly busy - perhaps just having a bad day but it did cause there to be an atmosphere.
Not sure I would return as there are other restaurants nearby which have a greater selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes

Fancied Sunday roast popped in Quinns what a lovely place bright and fresh pleasant staff the roast was wonderful and plenty of it will definitely eat there again I presume the lady walking around and greeting all the customers was the owner well you are the perfect host thank you and your staff for a lovely experience top marks throughout

First time I'd been back in some years... just as good as it was... I can always count a 5 star all round service here! Absolutely ? % recommended!
Vegetarian options: I'm pescatarian....
Plenty vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, pescatarian dishes available!
Parking: Tesco car park on the doorstep quite literally.. there are other nearby free parking options too!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is enough space to accommodate wheelchair access .. ramps...

Popped in for something to eat whilst out on a drive. The cafe was busy but still had no trouble getting seated. Order was taken quickly and drinks arrived at the same time. Food was delicious and freshly made. Only slight criticism was the staff did not appear to friendly given that Galashiels is meant to be a happy place to live.

Very nice restaurant and good service. Tasty food. We are from London. My sister and her family visited us from Australia. I am glad that we found Quinns.
