Been coming here for 20 years or so. Very disappointed that the staff were pleasant, the coffee was great and the dry tasteless jammy scone was so moist and yummy. Will not be back ?

Lady behind counter and bakes cakes did not smile and nodded when asked a question. Cake dry stay awa fae the cheese scones that hiv tomato or rosemary and latte cold. I recommend giving this place a miss. Expensive too. Oh and a chipped cup. The door was open even though it was raining and blowing a gale no heating on either. If I was on my own I would have said something but my fellow travellers did not want to make a scene.

A lovely place in the middle of nowhere in Scotland. The coffee is good and the scones are really tasty. The staff are super friendly and the bookstore is good too. When you're there, it's worth taking a break. There are also vegan scones.

Popped in again for a coffee and cakes!We were last here a couple of months ago and left the book store empty handed.Not this time.Great coffee, great cake and six books.Some not so readily available books there as well. The king of small book store you can loose yourself in for an hour and wonder where the time went and I am absolutely no bookworm!Well worth a stop.Parking: Bout 15 spacesKid-friendliness: Good selection of kids booksWheelchair accessibility: Might struggle a little?
