Excellent enterprise offering good food, and giftwares with efficient and friendly service. The only downside is the prompt for service charge on the card payment machine. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for supporting this kind of enterprise, but the idea seems a bit in-your-face when you don't expect it. That said, on the next visit I was ready for the prompt, and (hopefully) made up for the \\\"pass\\\" on the previous visit. Please don't let this put you off, this business is well worth supporting, and any surcharge is purely voluntary.

Lovely cafe and shop. We were thrilled to find soya and oat milk options in the cafe. Beautiful views and friendly staff.

It's ok, only place open on a Sunday.Took 43 mins to get a toasty which is not great. Toasty was good. Soup should already be made up so not too long or effort to make, toasties, maybe need another toasty machine? Was ok though and we were chilling out anyway so all good.

Today on a visit to the Gale Centre I waited at the till to pay for items and even though it was not busy the lady in charge ignored me making no eye contact or even acknowledging my presence. She continued counting money from the till and then walked away into a back room without a word to me. A waitress asked if I wanted to pay and notified the manager who finally appeared and made no apology for her rudeness. I was not impressed as good manners cost nothing and I very nearly left withoutbuying anything and wonder if others have already done so.

Definitely worth a stop and visit. Great gifts shop, hiking maps, and a chill café that serves some basics like soup and toasties as well as coffee and cake

First impressions, thought it was very expensive looking establishment. How wrong can you be large coffee and large piece of cake £5, they sell all the usual merchandise at very reasonable prices. But their best selling item is free and that's the view across the road: Loch Gairloch and the panoramic views that goes with it.

Excellent wee refreshment place. Well worth paying it a visit whether for a ' fly cup' and a 'fine piece' or something more filling!!Have visited twice so would highly recommend.

Had a great light lunch and coffee at the GALE cafe today. The shop stocks an interesting range of local items, ideal for tourists to take home as a reminder of their holiday. The view out onto the loch with Skye on the horizon is wonderful.

We stopped off at the community cafe in Gairloch for morning coffee. The home baked cakes we had were delicious and the staff pleasant and friendly. We plan to do the trip again soon and definitely will visit. I love enterprising businesses and would rather give them my trade.

A lovely community enterprise in the middle of Gairloch, lots of local crafts and locally made cakes and biscuits inside, we sat outside in the sun with beautiful sea views, the coffee and cake were very delicious and the staff were friendly, an excellent stop on the route 500

A gorgeous setting with epic views over to skye. Great coffee, cake and light bites. Table service at the moment. The gift shop was lovely and I had to limit buying too many things. Very worth stopping as you pass.
