This was our absolute best diner experience during our trip in Scotland. Our family is from the French West Indies and we travel a lot around the globe so we know our stuff ?. The moment we had a piece of BBQ jerk chicken in our mouth, it was like going back to the source : so tasty, authentic, fresh but also well balanced with the perfect amount of spiciness. We also enjoyed the chicken wings and the generous BBQ ribs. The coconut pie with delicate caramel and whipped cream was equally delicious. But what was most memorable was the care and warm welcome of the beautiful Anji, her husband James and their son. Thank you for this beautiful experience !

what a surprise to discover a Jamaican restaurant so far north of Scotland.. but even better dishes were succulent well cooked juicy and quite tasty. The team is amazing, each customer is welcome like a vip.
That?s a great place to travel to Jamaica whatever the weather. True Jamaican food, sad though ? no goat meal that day .

Saw the other reviews and had to give this place a go.
Firstly, the woman serving us was enthusiastic and super friendly! The food was delicious, all the meat was tender and falling off the bone and the sauces were great.
Food was served VERY quickly but it was quiet when we were there. Nice music and a good atmosphere inside.
Highly recommend! But check opening hours - it's not open for long!

Our penultimate night of the NC500 and who knew it would be one of the best. Can?t recommend it highly enough, the best jerk chicken I?ve ever had washed down with a red stripe and the most delicious and deadly rum punch?s on the planet. Staff were all incredibly friendly and food was ready in less than 10 minutes on a really busy night.
Should have bought more punch to take home. ?

Went 2 nights in a row and tried the jerk chicken and spiced mango and lime cheesecake. Second night the BBQ ribs and coconut pie. Everything was amazing!

What an absolute gem! Genuinely our best dinner out we've had in ages, and we have a lot of choice living in the central belt of Scotland. Swung by tonight at 5pm and managed to get a seat straight away (though it was completely full by 5:30pm on a Saturday night so get down early if you'd rather not wait for a table, though they do takeaway too!). Really lovely, cosy atmosphere with good music and friendly, welcoming staff. And then the food came out... AMAZING! We shared a portion of the jerk chicken, BBQ pork rib (both served with slaw and rice/beans) and a side of smokey chips with garlic mayo. All absolutely full of flavour and the meat melted in our mouths. Washed it down with a mega tasty rum punch (which packs a punch!) and another to takeaway for the driver to have later. Thanks so much. Can't wait to return next time we're up the NW!

Flavour!!
This place is amazing. The flavour of the food is so good - warm, full and interesting. Even the rice is so tasty I could eat it as a meal on its own.
I had the chickpea curry followed by coconut pie (along with the spiced mango & lime cheesecake shared with my son).
So dam tasty.
The vibe is also perfect and you couldn?t ask for more genuine and lovely people to run it.
I left smiling and content.
Just go. You won?t be disappointed.
