Excellent base location for visiting the Western Highland

Stayed at Fort William for 3 nights for business, the staff here are really friendly and helpful but unfortunately let down by the lack of maintenance within the rooms. At over £100 + per night I was expecting better, even though the room had been cleaned due to poor maintenance it wasn't what I would expect from a premier inn. Might have been unlucky but could have got somewhere better for possibly less.Rooms: Poorly maintained.

Perfect location to stay at if you?re looking to explore in and around Fort William. Just make sure to fill in the carpark tablet in reception as the carpark sends parking notices out easily.

The hotel is very tired, peeling paint cracked walls just looks old. The staff did their job in an efficient and quick manor. and the breakfast was cold. Next time will try somewhere closer to the centre.Rooms: Comfortable bed. But heating broken and the fan would not turn off all night. Also there were cracks in the wall and chipped paint.Food & drinks: Not great, I ate in the restaurant twice dinner was OK but not hot and overpriced. Breakfast was cold and not very inviting. At least the staff were pleasant.

Place is nice but rooms are a little rough. Could do with a freshen up. Lot of paint peel, and the power socket next to the bed has fallen apart. Still comfy and a great powerful shower.

The hotel was ok, we have stayed in a few in England much better, our room was a bit tired with flaking plaster & paint on the ceiling and a wall. It was an accessible room and did have some space, if I was in a wheelchair it wouldn't be suitable as there was also a spare bed in our room. However the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help.

Stayed here before climbing the Ben. Good location with an easy walk into town. Good breakfast selection in the restaurant. Only docking a star because on our particular day our room and the hotel in general was very hot, but 9 times out of 10 it won't be 28+ degrees when you're visiting here, so aircon won't be a deal

I have rated this 3 stars because my first room was great (25) and my second room was quite poor (47).Room 25 had a great shower, comfortable bed and pillows. I had a great night's sleep.Room 47 the shower was not great, the bed and pillows were nowhere near as comfortable, the carpet outside the bathroom was damp and it made the full room smell a wee bit funky. So all in there are really good rooms and not so good rooms in this hotel.

- Slightly old Premier Inn.- Generally dark lighting inside the rooms, compared to other Premier Inns.- The best feature of this place are probably the quality of water and the water pressure. One can prepare bath in less than 2 minutes!- Good location.- The region is quiet but the rooms are close to the car park so you get to hear people outside. Also, the sound proof is not so good so you get to hear a fair amount from the corridor from 7-8am as well.- The Wifi (even ultimate) is at times unstable but this is probably an issue throughout Premier Inns.- As a side remark, this branch might have one of the longest corridors among Premier Inns.

Stayed here after completing the WHW.The positives: bed is comfy, water pressure is great and the hotel is next door to the railway station and a Morrisons. The negatives: lights in the room are dark, giving a dingy look, WiFi is terrible and the hotel is expensive compared to other Premier Inns
