I recently had an outstanding stay at this hotel! Brilliant & friendly staff truly elevated our experience beyond the standard 5-star rating.Our group of 17 people, received exceptional service ? we thoroughly enjoyed the stay of 2 days. The hotel's strategic location, to start with, is really ideal and just next to the Mighty Ben Nevis. Additionally, its proximity to Glencoe, Glenn Finnan, Glen Nevis, Steall Gorge & Falls and various other attractions made our stay even more convenient.It's definitely worth the 10/10 and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The rooms were rather good, with plenty space for guests and excellent added facilities and treats. Our visit was enhanced by the availability of a spa, sauna, jacuzzi and huge pool. I'm looking forward to going back and enjoying the wonderful amenities and friendly service again!Rooms: Spacious and beautiful rooms, with Scottish welcome treats and luxury toiletries and great service too!Nearby activities: Ben Nevis, for sure!Glencoe is just a short distance away.Glen Finnan, Steall Gorge & water falls.Glen Nevis.Safety: Have 24*7 service and security. The staff was just a call away if you need anything at all.Walkability: Just walkable distance to the shops, cafes and restaurants and the Mighty Ben Nevis.Food & drinks: M&S, KFC, McDonalds and few other shops and take-aways nearby.

Great service from all staff. Unfortunately problems with boilers meant very limited warm water for showers/ baths. Got a small discount. Broken hook on bathroom door and broken shower gel dispenser. Not what I would call a premium room. I reported the broken items so hopefully they'll be repaired by now. Food was quite acceptable and served in large helpings!

Lovely hotel with amazing staff, all very friendly.Beautiful leisure club too.Food was beautiful especially the breakfast.The location is amazing too, just a 20 minute walk from Ben Nevis.If I come back here, I will definitely book this hotel again.Rooms: Room was spotless with a lovely clean walk-in shower.Nearby activities: Ben Nevis for sure.Safety: This hotel was only filled with families and elderly.Walkability: This hotel sits right next to Ben Nevis and also a retail centre of an ALDI, Home Bargains, and a M&S.Food & drinks: The food was of great quality, and the breakfast buffet was amazing - plenty of variety.

What a sad and deteriorated hotel. Checked in saw my room and checked out within 20 minutes. Paper thin mattress is of very low support along with a dirty room, dirty linen and dirty shower. I did use your towel to wipe away some of the grime and dirt in the shower, my apologies. The room smells of damp and so much so the walls have mould and the paper has started to come away from the walls.Staff offered to change my room but I?d rather do the 4 hour drive home. Travelling for work so fortunately it hasn?t cost me anything but such a shame on what was once probably a very nice hotel??clearly not anymore.

Brilliant & friendly staff, including the bar staff and breakfast team, truly elevated our experience beyond the standard 5-star rating. Their exceptional service added an extra layer of warmth and made our stay truly memorable.I recently had an outstanding stay at this hotel! The staff, from the bar to the breakfast team, went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional, providing fantastic suggestions for activities on not-so-great weather days and even assisting us during storms to protect our cars. Their friendliness and warmth made the experience truly delightful.Our group, consisting of around 12 people, received exceptional service ? they simply couldn't do enough for us. The hotel's strategic location, just an 8-minute drive from the YHA where some of our team started their hike up Ben Nevis, proved to be ideal. Additionally, its proximity to Glencoe, Glenn Finnan, and various attractions made our stay even more convenient.I'd give it a solid 10/10 and would unquestionably recommend it. The rooms were spacious, and the facilities were more than satisfactory. The added bonus of a spa, sauna, and a large pool made our stay even more enjoyable. Looking forward to returning and relishing the warm hospitality and excellent amenities once again!Walkability: Really close by for Ben Nevis walkers

Sorry to say this visit didn't meet previous visits standards. Health facilities mostly out of order (roof leak). The pool was cold not great for children. The showers were tepid , boiler malfunction. Needs significant investment. However, on the plus side the staff were excellent in the main, the breakfast and meals were fine as was the location. Good value for money overall.

Stayed here before was up on work trip and fancied steam room ,sauna and jacuzzi only a 5 fiver brilliant after driving from Edinburgh only thing I recommend is refurbish the lockers as bit tired and worn but staff very accomodating

It was my worst scotish experience so far. I do not even know where to start the list of things that were wrong?- dirty rooms with stained bedding, sticky surfaces and unemptied bins.- musty smell everywhere.- overcoked meals served during breakfast.Avoid this place at any cost!

Room was discussing with damp on the wall. We chose room with Mountain View - got room with massive tree outside and no view at all. Bathroom was not cleaned, dirty towels were picked up and put back on instead of replacing them. Kettle was discussing not cleaned for ages. Defo first and last time! Not mentioning that hotel booked us with wrong room standard where before coming we had 2 telephone conversation to double check if our reservation was definitely upgraded correctly!

Adequate accommodation but rooms not cleaned every day. Meals okay with reasonable choice, Only complaint at breakfast they could do with more staff in attendance as food kept running out as there were several bus loads on stop overs and only 2 staff trying to cope. Swimming pool and sauna with gym facilities very handy. Hotel about 20 minutes walk from Fort William main street. On a clear day lovely view of Ben Nevis from the front of the hotel.

The hotel needs a serious update. Mattress is hard and I don't even think it's twin. Tub doesn't drain well. I have a window that won't close .told them about it and so far nothing has been done. I would never stay here again
