Very rude staff busy in car washing outside while we place our order and then instead of admitting his mistake refuse to let us eat in restaurant and insists that you place an order for takeout. I only took food because of staff working behind the counter. They are really helpful. But restaurant staff are rude and unprofessional.

Ordered their calamari, 5 pieces for £10, tasted absolutely horrible. Chips were all soggy and customer service horrible. Never again.

This place is ridiculous. We were sitting at the table, and two different waitries came over but refused to serve us. We just wanted to order hot drinks, beverages, and cake for the kids. Then a man told us we could only order if we also got hot food. It felt a bit discriminatory toward a family with children.

Sat down to have some drinks and desserts, but we have not been served. The waiter advised that we cannot order drinks only. Avoid from this place at any cost?

Pathetic Place, solely because of the impolite staff especially chief of the staff. Extremely rude behaviour shown to us when we trying to give orders. It seems like prime location of the restaurant keeps a good influx of tourist guests who visit only once, so the restaurant is not making any effort in keeping the customers happy, rather than only focusing to milk the guests and show their attitude.
A bit harsh to blame the entire restaurant for the deed of one person - chief of the staff, however the behaviour needs to be known for other future guests to choose responsibly.

Unpleasant Experience Due to Staff Behavior
Unfortunately, our experience was significantly marred by the demeanor of the staff during our visit. It felt as though our group was either unintentionally caught in a difficult moment or deliberately targeted due to our inquiries regarding vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
What should have been an enjoyable outing was overshadowed by dismissive and unnecessarily sarcastic responses. For instance, a simple question about food timing was met with, ?Can you cook in that time???a remark that felt both unprofessional and uncalled for. Even basic requests like water had to be made multiple times without response.
While we understand that restaurant staff can face high-pressure situations, courtesy and respect should never be compromised. No one was asking for a favor?just basic service. The tone and attitude we encountered left a lasting negative impression that extended well beyond the visit itself.

Extremely Disrespectful and Unprofessional Behavior
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share what happened during our recent visit to Moorings Restaurant on 22/07/2025
From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with clear disrespect. Not only were we ignored for long periods, but when we asked polite questions or made simple requests, we were met with eye rolls, sarcasm, and even open mockery. It was deeply humiliating and completely uncalled for.
Hospitality should be at the heart of any restaurant experience, and unfortunately, this place seems to have forgotten that. No customer deserves to be treated with such rudeness and contempt. It ruined what should have been a pleasant outing.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of their staff. Until then, I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

This is the one I have been to so many restaurants, and the service and attitude are the worst. The staff are too arrogant. And the food is also very bad, must give a bad review, will never come back to this restaurant, it is really bad.
