To me the shop assistant seems to have a PhD in Scottish history? or at least is very passionate about the culture of Highlanders. Eye opening chat with many details we?ve never heard before. Thanks!

The grand dragon was very eager to grant me a membership to his chapter. After the closing ceremonies his wife handsew me a beautiful robe and we enjoyed a crossburning accompanied by homemade pancakes and a glass of grapejuice.10/10 would recommend.

Incredible experience and a very good time. The show is interesting and Anthony added humour to that leading to a perfect mix. I can only recommend to go there and learn as much as you can from the brothers about the highlanders history.

Watched the presentation and found it very informative. It also had a few laughs along the way. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting.

The "show" put on at the Clansman Center is not to be missed. We were entertained by Anthony for 1.5 hours. We sat in a reproduction of a Highland home from the 1500's while he regailed us with stories and information about how the highlanders lived. The highlight was showing how the original kilts were put together as he dressed 2 from the audience. Do not visit Ft. Augustus without going to this gem. Call ahead for show information.

Visited today after a recommendation and it was superb! The presenting clansman shared his knowledge, and gave us a glance into clan history, with incredible knowledge and humour. Whilst audience participation isn?t obligatory I?d highly recommend getting involved, it?s a unique experience and really good fun.

We did a clansman show today. The show was very elaborate and fun to watch. The man who gave the show was very kind and was a fountain of knowledge. Got to learn a lot!We were with a small group, so everyone got the chance to dress up in Highland clothes. Definitely reccomend this shop and show!

My family ended up with a private showing just 2 days ago. The show was an unexpected find and was just wonderful. Two lovely brothers run the centre and Anthony does the theatre. He knows everything about the highland history and it was extremely interesting and entertaining. Would highly recommend and the ticket price of 6.50 is really great value. Do fit this in to your visit of Fort Augustus. Thank you David and Anthony for a rare treat.

Sometimes overlooked by tourists, this centre is worth a visit. In addition to the nice products and wares that are sold, the centre passionately demonstrates and exhibits authentic highland tradition, history and relics. It provides a valuable insight into the local Scottish clans and their history, how they dressed and fought, and how they endured everyday life amongst themselves, between their foes, and against the elements.

Lovely little place...

Our cruise of the loch started here. There is a statue of Nessie outside and short walk to catch the boat. If you have time before or after there is a lot of touristy shopping and food. Was large and clean.
