Stayed the week in this beautiful property in Fort Augustus. Our apartment was the 14 Raven Wing, and it offered a view on the great front lawn. It was spotless and had everything my daughter and I needed: we were very comfortable. There is just so much to see and do around the property: walking inside this old abbey, outside directly to the lake, the swimming pool, the tennis court, and all other amenities? Not to mention the walking access to downtown Fort Augustus or to trails going up into the hills overlooking the Loch Ness.We hope to be back soon to discover more of the Highlands.

This was such an amazing place to stay at, we were in the Scriptorium Garden room. You have full use of the highland club facilities as well as getting to stay in a historic place. The garden room was fantastic, with a bottom living, kitchen and bathroom area and then the bedroom with vaulted ceilings up a set of stairs. It's right on the loch and, honestly, feels like you are walking around Hogwarts when you are inside. Also...there are bunnies all over the lawn and it is adorable to chase them while right on Loch Ness.

You cannot beat the location, so close to walk into the square. Staying in an abbey felt very surreal! The apartment was very clean and well equipped. We had to call for maintenance and they were there in a minute, very kind and helpful (it was our user error). Would recommend!

This abbey nicely converted into and appartements complex is a perfect and stunning place for a family holiday. Quite well situated at the heart of the highlands, the resort offers many activities on site: swimming pool, gym, ping-pong, tennis, football, chests? The apartments are very nicely built inside the old religious structure, they are clean and equipped with everything you need. Nice welcome by a very efficient staff. All good!

We went with another couple for a week and had a terrific time. The apartment ( Abbey Church 2) was large with a lovely patio; very well equipped and with a great welcome pack which saved us doing too much shopping. The team were all very helpful and dealt with any issues promptly and in a friendly manner. Marty was particularly good. The location was excellent for travelling round the Highlands. As a bonus, the weather was dramatically better than forecast which really helped.

This is one of the most unique accommodations we've ever experienced. The well-appointed fully equipped apartments are built into an old Victorian gothic edifice at the heart of a sprawling property of greens and forests that pour into hauntingly lovely Loch Ness. The building used to be a monastery, then a boys' school, so there are definitely Hogwarts vibes for anyone with such a penchant. There is a beautiful cloister framed with colonnades and arched windows that has at its center a life-sized chess board. There is a dark wood lounge with a vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and crimson trim where guests can relax and play board games. Another vast hall has a ping-pong table, then there's the pool complex which is in the old chapel with a fine view of pine trees and hills. Croquet and cricket sets are available to use on the green, and we even found tennis rackets and balls in our apartment to use on the tennis court. A football too, for use on the football pitch. I wouldn't have been surprised to find quidditch gear in one of the closets. Slots for most of those activities have to be booked, but there didn't seem to be too much competition for the minimally organized. There are a number of gorgeous walks starting in and around the property, and the quaint little hamlet cum tourist trap town of Ft. Augustus is right next door. Ducks and bunnies flutter and scamper everywhere. Our apartment was impressively spacious, with two bathrooms including a tub. The kitchen had everything we needed, with a gift bottle of wine and a small jug of milk waiting for us in the fridge which was much appreciated. Ample free parking is available to guests. The only negative in an overall wonderful stay was on arrival. The property is divided into several sections each managed by a different agency/owner, with no reception of any kind. We parked in the main lot and tried a couple of doors that were locked before stopping a gentleman in a uniform who seemed to work there and asking where to go. It was lucky we found him because he knew to call Elena on his cell phone and let her know we had arrived. She had apparently sent us her contact information through the Booking.com app, but it didn't get through. We had to drag our suitcases up a flight of stairs, but quickly forgot these minor inconveniences. The Highland Club is rather pricey, but we think it's definitely worth the splurge, especially for young families.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. We were a family of 4 staying in the Sacristy apartment. We had a private terrace overlooking the loch, and fed the tame ducks and watched bunnies on the lawn. Great facilities and a five minute walk into Fort Augustus. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay in the Abbey. Fort Augustus is warm and inviting and the Highland Club offers outstanding accommodations. The location is excellent as a central stay for exploring the Inverness, Speyside, and Skye regions as well as Loch Ness.

The accommodation is lovely it can?t be faulted. However with the number of rooms on this site there really ought to be some type of security personnel on site in case you get lost or lose something, which I did, and I couldn?t get any help at all at night. I was simply told to ?go back in the morning? for help. To be honest that?s not good enough.

Real good apartment with all you need and more. Great place to stay for a holiday, we booked 7 nights. Pool, sauna and steam pool are good. Enough entertainment like table tennis, tennis, snooker etcetc. Best view's and great area to explore the Loch.

This is a wonderful property nestled on the southern shore of Loch Ness. When we arrived, we were met by a young lady (Lauren) who was so kind and insightful. She gave us an extensive tour of the property, ingested with history of the property separated by appropriate humor. The grounds and location are amazing, but when we opened the apartment door we realized the flat was so much nicer than the pictures we saw on the web. My wife said ?I could live here?. My only regret was not booking this for a longer period of time on our trip. This would be a great place to spend a week with the family in the highlands.
