Great wee place. Have stopped here many times, everything cooked from fresh. Chap seems to workalone 7 days a week throughout the season. Fair play.

Probably one of the most reasonably priced chippies in The Highlands. Less than £10 for fish 'n' chips. Less than £4 for chips. It was cooked fresh to order so it was piping hot. It is a takeaway so there aren't any seats, but just across from it on the canal bank there are tables and benches. Fort Augustus is definitely a touristy place, and sits at the southern end of Loch Ness. The Caledonian canal meets up with the Loch, Very picturesque and worth a trip if you're in the area.

A super nice man and the best food. We're traveling through England and Scotland, and this shop is a real insider tip for us! The price is cheaper than any other, and you get a large portion. We had fish and haggis. Both were delicious! We'll be dreaming about the haggis tonight. I hope we get to enjoy it like this again.

The person in the shop behaved very rudely while taking the order itself and was very impatient, were very much disappointed. Not a recommend shop to go

Unlike some older reviews, my experience here was great. The server was really friendly and battered and fried the fish right in front of us, super fresh. Admittedly chips were from frozen but in this area I've not yet been served fresh chips, frozen seems to be the norm. Prices are cheaper than the pubs and you'll go away with a full belly.
