The breakfast was very limited and costly for such a poor portion with no discription on menu. Asked for butter sent margarine in a small.pot , coffee extremely bitter with granules floating in it. Scrambled egg watery and tasteless. No vegetarian option available

Had a very nice breakfast. the service was excellent. Most certainly come back. Large free carpark close by, about a 3 min walk.

Took us awhile to get the right breakfast place and this definitely is the one! Staff and owner are really friendly. Food is always spot on and it has that homley feel. Been coming for a few months now and it's definitely our favorite place in Forfar.

Going downhill a bit. Excellent coffee but bacon roll, served on white when brown asked for and the bacon was either over cooked or dried out from sitting about keeping warm too long.
A smile can go a long way in service but sadly absent. Won't be returning.

My parents and I visited here while on holiday We were warmly welcomed we enjoyed three beautiful coffees even our wee four legged friend was given a bowl of water

A great wee place for a coffee and a chat! The lady who owns Purdys was working on her own when I visited and she was so efficient, making sure every customer was attended to. A friendly vibe as well, the place was full with people of all ages - very welcoming. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Visited Purdy's by chance as I was looking for breakfast while my car was in the garage. Greeted by the owner as I came in who was very friendly and attentive. She makes a mean full breakfast, using local butcher sausages. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back if I'm passing through Forfar again!

Passing through Forfar needing a quick bite to eat and the first 2 food takeaways have closed for the day, you come across your 3rd and final attempt purdeys, which was further down the Google list, All I can say is this shop should be top of the list, the girl on duty was all tidied up and went out of her way to cook my toasties, she could easily of said no, with the sorry I?m getting out of here attitude, but nope she bent over backwards which was really appreciated and even added salad to my takeaway, all in all the service was outstanding and the toasties were fantastic, I hope this puts a smile on your face and it?s a pity there aren?t more like yourself in this world, thank you very much.

worth a visit. I pop in for a roll and coffee. both perfect. Must try the homemade cakes..and they have homemade jam.
