It's placed well in town centrally and is easy to get to. The staff are always quick to come to help when you get in, are friendly, polite and work fast. Yes the times are limited to go in person, but I don't mind that so much given the increased options you get by email to change the day of delivery, leaving it in a safe place/with a neighbour or to arrange to have it redelivered another day.

Closes 11am Monday Tuesday Wednesday not 12.30 as advertised . The information on opening hours should really be updated during Coronovirus.

I find this post office one of the worst post offices I have had to use. I post a lot of letters and I have never met with such rude and bossy people. As a customer, it is up to me how I put my post together, whether right or wrong, if I post in a letter box I will not be questioned but quite often I will be corrected and told where I MUST put things. ie stamps in one corner, customs slip on front, etc etc. I have to wait, as others do, whilst they frank each envelope. If I was just posting in the post box then it would not be franked but just go off with the post office. I cannot understand why they have to be so pedantic to the point of humiliating customers. I told them I had not been asked to do this in other post offices and then found out they had taken the liberty to mention me to my local post office complaining that I had not put the customs slip on the front but on the back ticking me off as if I were a child. Whether they are right or wrong there is a way of dealing with customers in a friendly way. Instead they like to exercise their power and knowledge. I try to avoid this post office as much as I can. They also check how much each envelope costs to post even if I say that I have weighed them already. I am merely passing on my post instead of putting it in the post box, and I should not have to wait forever whilst they check everything. Like I said, pedantic!!
