George and Gloria are excellent hosts. Lovely place to stay. Rooms are well equipped and very clean. Would highly recommend. You are made to feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast. Look forward to dealing with you in 2024.

We arrived in Fochabers after walking from Buckie and the reception we received was welcoming. The rooms were nice and had good facilities. Food was not served that day but we had already been made aware of that and booked elsewhere. the bar closed at 8pm on the night we were there. Breakfast was nice with big portions.

We stayed here for one night. Despite an event, we were shown everything and given tips.In the evening we visited the pub and even though we were strangers, we were welcomed like good old friends, incredibly warm, friendly... an unforgettable evening, especially thanks to the super friendly boss!The hotel and the pub are simply 100% recommended!!!Rooms: Super clean and well maintained!

I stayed here for one night while walking the Speyside Way. George, the host, was super friendly and helpful and my room, on the top floor, was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and filling, with an assortment of cereals and juice and a menu for a full Scottish breakfast. I would stay again.

Used as a stop on the Speyside Way. Warm welcome, room on top floor was basic but spacious and clean. Busy bar with lots of atmosphere but didn?t disturb sleep. No evening meals available but hotel staff booked a local restaurant for us. Traditional Scottish breakfast available.

We had an unexpected late arrival & George was incredibly accommodating & nothing was too much trouble. (11.30pm ! ) Gail the chef was a star & made us lots of sandwiches crisps & even apple pie which was left in our room ( we were ravenous? Thank You Gail !!! ) Fab room comfy bed lovely stay. Breakfast was delicious & freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend staying here. ?.we?re walking the Speyside Way

The proprietor is super nice, knowledgeable to Speyside Way walkers and could not have been more helpful when a bag failed to show up on time. The rooms were clean, have plenty of space, are nicely appointed in tasteful sturdy wood bedroom suites. Beds are comfy. Shower was hot, bathroom clean and the pub on the first floor had a good selection, friendly people and lots of space. This is a good place to stay.

The owner was so nice! We chatted with him and some locals in the bar it was great fun. The hotel room was BIG. Comfy bed and nice breakfast.

I used to like popping in here for a quiet (or even a noisy) pint whilst up visiting family. Sad to see it appears to be permanently closed. In the last year or so, I?ve seen no evidence or information to say what the future of this once fine watering hole is going to be?
