Probably one of the best chippys in the Elgin area. Be prepared for a wait but it is worth it. The fish is white and flakes apart covered just right in a light and crispy batter.
The jumbo haddock would feed 2 or just one with a healthy appetite. Meal comes with a small tub of tartare sauce.
Thoroughly recommend them and now are favourite chippy.

Been looking forward to returning here after many years, a favourite en route to Inverness from Aberdeen as kids. Had to have the fish supper which I certainly didn't regret, the fish was cooked perfectly in the lovely light crispy batter and the chips were tasty and well cooked. Tartare sauce is complimentary and was lovely too. Also very friendly staff and spotlessly clean. 10/10

We are from South Korea, it was business trip from Aberdeen to Inverness. One of my collegue want a emergency stop for the rest room. Bus driver stop next to this restaurant, we couldn't keep patient when we saw signboard with Scottland's No.1 Fish and chips 2017.
Inside the restaurant was croweded with the people who were already ordered for take out.
That gave us more expectations for the food.
Food was hot and cripsy. Tartar sauce was great I've never had before. Vinegar on the fish was excellent that caught the oily taste.
It was lucky and fun experience.

Foods good but attitude of staff is rubbish

I drove through tonight with my niece, a wee treat for us both. Ended up walking out due the back customer services!! Not towards me but to an elderly, vulnerable gentleman! He was being shouted at by several staff members, being accused of getting his order wrong twice, and generaly being downsized and disgraced in public!! I did say to the staff to make them aware this was disgraceful before I chose to leave!! I will not be supporting a business that treats elderly in that manner!!!
