Aberdour Castle is in the village of Aberdour, Fife, Scotland. Parts of the castle date from around 1200, making Aberdour one of the oldest standing castles in Scotland

Down at beach. Saw a middle class mum, grab her children out of the restauraunt queque, take them all the way round the building, to gain surreptitious entrance to a table, whilst me as multipl-disabled, was ?frozen? with disgust, in said queque. So?meandering back to my car, took this pic of the visitors? cars.Any Saxo-philes, support this type of middle class behaviour?

Great castle and ruins with garden. I just wish the access to the parking lot could be fixed so one wouldn't need to walk all the way around.

What a gem in the Kingdom of Fife! The Castle is well preserved and maintained. A lot to explore. The garden is beautiful and full of flowers. The orchard was full of apples as we visited at the end of August and we were offered by Staff ladies to pick some apples. An ancient church is absolutely amazing.Highly recommend to visit.

A castle that will impress you. Located in a beautiful town with beautiful corners and a very cozy beach, where you can take a walk to the port.and its train station is a super city and beautiful.

Really enjoyed it! The lady at the front desk was so kind & friendly. The castle is beautiful & there is quite a lot to look at. I particularly enjoyed the gardens/flowers as well as visiting the church right nearby. I think we spent about 2 hours there & could?ve stayed a bit longer. It?s not too crowded either. The history of it all was cool too & just seeing how these big castles were constructed.
