Great setting overlooking the water. Very relaxing. I had breakfast there with excellent food and service. Would recommend anyone to go.

Have come here for Lombards Rally Race and this place offered a ?take away menu? for the spectators. If I could rate this experience in crumbs, I would. I paid £6 for a ?toastie? that was roughly the size of a coaster, and about as flavourful, LITERALLY no thicker than 2cm, thinner than paper. Calling it a toastie is generous?it was more like two slices of cardboard whispering about cheese. I ordered 2, one for me and my son, plus a bottle of water and a tea, and the damage came to an eye-watering £18.50.
For that kind of money, I expect at least a sandwich and not something that looks like it was confiscated from a toddler?s lunchbox.
The Lairds Table clearly sees a captive audience at the rally and thinks, ?perfect, let?s fleece them.? They succeeded. But never again.
If you?re considering eating here, do yourself a favour: lick the inside of your wallet instead, it will have more flavour and save you the crushing disappointment.
Avoid this place like a pothole at 90mph.

Great coffee and cake and a bowl of water for the dog!

The Laird's Table is beautifully situated, overlooking a lake and surrounded by woodland. The interior is stylishly decorated, using wood and artefacts from the house and estate.
The menu promised locally and ethically sourced ingredients and there were options for every appetite and dietary requirement.
The waiting staff were polite and welcoming.
Our food was tasty and well presented, although we thought the Turkish Eggs would have been better with a couple of thick chunks of sourdough bread, instead of the three tiny, thin pieces of toast. On reflection, we should have asked for more bread.
The lamb burger with fries was really juicy and flavoursome.
However, we felt that the food and drinks were overpriced for what they were and we left feeling disappointed.
The carpark and restaurant were accessible for wheelchair and walking frame users and there was plenty of space to accommodate these.

Stopped in for coffee and cake after a friend recommended a visit. Great coffee and good selection of cake even though it was late in the afternoon. Lovely view of the fishing lake and we were lucky enough to see a woodpecker at the bird feeders while there. We had a bit of a SATNAV inspired adventure finding the place but now we know where it is we?ll be back. And it has a dog friendly area too!

Small varied menu, tasty food. Freshly cooked & hot

Everything was well cooked and nicely presented. Service was friendly and efficient.

As the food is freshly cooked, there is inevitably a wait before your meal arrives, especially when the restaurant is busy. It is, however, worth the wait!
It is best to book so that you get a table by a window.

A lovely cafe / restaurant next to the fishing loch at Crawfurdland. In for brunch which was perfect. Everything made to order so don't expect fast food

Excellent food and service, as always

Excellent food and location. On this occasion the service was a little slow.

The place was nice enough, a nice view and a little gift shop inside. Service was good, friendly but a lot of the things on the menu were unavailable and the menu wasn?t that big so it made it hard for us to choose what to eat. Also very pricey due to it all being fresh, which I wouldn?t have minded if they had the items I wanted available.

Lovely view, great staff, loved the sustainability focus too. Very good menu and delicious cakes, highly recommend a visit!
Only a mark down as I really dislike balsamic vinegar/ dressing and I didn't see on the menu that would be on the eggs benediction to ask for it without
