Was heading to Mapsie Glen for a walk and wanted a take away coffee so googled this place and saw it had a high star rating. When we went in we stood for a few minutes before one of the two staff showed us any attention. We were then greeted (!) with a disgruntled welcome asking what we wanted. We waiting about 10 minutes for our 2 coffees even though there was only 4 other people sat in the cafe so not what you?d called busy.
I asked where the female toilets were and again was met with a response that certainly was not welcoming. After their card machine had difficulties accepting contactless, we finally managed to paid and left. Got back to the car, took a sip of the iced latte and had to spit it out. It?s the worst latte I?d ever had. Was more like a cold black coffee with a dash of milk. Throughly disappointed in not only the coffee but the service and unwelcoming environment. No one every wants to feel like their request is burdening

I was there with my daughter in June. We had a table in the chocolate side. The lunch we had was delicous. Had nice chat with the working owner lovely lady. Dont hesitate just go and enjoy the food the gorgeous cakes and chocolates you will want to go back. I wiil be back.

First time at the Lomond today. The menu is very extensive and something for everyone?s taste . The food was lovely; the coffee very good. The cakes looked divine and I?ll be sampling on my next visit; but with so much choice, I?ll be spoilt!
The tearoom is spotlessly clean and the ladies there are a real credit to business. Very high standard - in every way!

The Lomond Tearoom and Chocolate Shop ? Falkland ??
A cozy gem right in the heart of beautiful Falkland! ?? After a walk through the village and a visit to the palace, this tearoom was the perfect stop for our family. ???????
? Cakes and chocolates were out of this world ? rich, homemade, and full of flavour. The kids were in heaven with the chocolate slices and truffles, and we couldn?t resist taking a few extras home from the shop! ?
? The coffee and tea were excellent, served with care and a smile. Everything is presented beautifully, with that warm, personal touch.
? The tearoom has a cozy, vintage feel, with lovely decor and friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
It?s small, so if you're coming with a bigger group, try not to hit peak lunch hour ? but it?s absolutely worth the wait.
One of our favourite little spots in Fife ? full of charm, sweetness, and great memories. ?

Lovely tea room with an excellent menu. So much choice! Cakes looked amazing and are all homemade. We hadn?t booked but they still fitted us in on a busy day. Could become a regular spot for us.

Although this place is a cafe, we just popped in for some chocolate, which is through the left-hand door. There is a large variety of homemade chocolates for sale. We picked the dark chocolate raisins. The prices match the quality of the chocolate, they tasted very nice. The assistant was polite and well presented.

Beware when ordering tea or Coffee? served with plastic milk portion pots - fresh milk would be nice!

We arrived at 3.20pm (Monday) and were told they were closing at 3.45 so we could only have a drink and cake/scones. That was fine by us. Service was fine and prompt. Coffee and scones were good. Just be aware that when they say they close at 3.45 that is exactly the time they close and you are expected to leave by then! Music off at 3.45 on the dot!
We note the defensive staff responses to any negative reviews - it doesn't give a good impression of staff attitudes!
We recommend a visit but not after 3pm!!

If I could rate 0 , I would , abrupt owners , terrible service , food was like warm and dry , no soul in it. I've had better cakes out of the Aldi??
