I regularly shop in the farm shop, you will literally not get fruit and veg like this anywhere else. Full of flavour, totally fresh and absolutely worth every penny! The cafe is awesome as well. Great coffee, really tasty cakes, a fantastic spot for lunch.Nearby activities: Walks

Waited over 15 minutes to be served. Watched a table of 5 with hot drinks and cakes be served before me and then another 2 with hot drinks and food whilst I stood like an idiot waiting. When a member of staff making hot drinks finally realised I hadn't been served and asked me what my order was (2 hot drinks and one order of food) I said don't bother and apologised to a lady making an order at the till because i was asking for my money back. A blonde ponytailed lady at the till didn't like this and said well its busy which it was but serving that amount of people who made orders after me and it being clear my order had went missing is not good enough. When they were scrolling through orders on the till looking for my order to refund - which I had to remind them of - the staff member who took my order actually said to this blonde lady no its much further back than that indicating that my order was indeed some time ago. There was no apology from this lady and she sighed as if me not being served was a massive inconvenience to her. Somehow managed to apologise to the other customers for my interruption though.Maybe if the till staff taking orders paid more attention instead of playing to a crowd, and, they didn't have staff disappearing - twice I heard a member of staff on till ask where is x and where is y - then maybe there would be more effort in serving customers appropriately. Also just for the record cous cous - if indeed thats what it was - served as part of a salad means that its not gluten free despite me asking and being assured the salad was gluten free. As someone with coeliac disease if this WAS cous cous then this is unacceptable and very poor on behalf of a organic, vegan and designated non gluten containing or gluten free establishment serving food.Education on attitude, customer service and allergens are sorely needed.

It's a beautiful place, I love to sit outside in the orchard.I visited recently and had a delicious coffee and cake, the cake was dry, stale and tasteless, I should have asked for a refund.

We popped buy the shop after a walk around the Faulkland Estate. The little lodge is so pretty, beautiful handprints stain glass window details on the toilet/shower block. Shop is well stocked and laid out. Lots of lovely options. We missed getting a coffee or anything to eat as we had already ate. But food looked and smelled delish from what we could see

Once again a lovely visit. We parked an had a nice walk around the Falkland estate before stopping in at the cafe and farm shop. It's great that they are dog friendly, we sat out in the poly tunnel seating with the fire going and enjoyed a fantastic gluten free minestrone soup and also a vegetable lasagne. Finished off with the gluten free Parkin too. A nice number of gluten free options available in the cafe. The farm shop was well stocked as always and the gluten free availability in there is brilliant. We'll worth taking a look around after stopping in at the cafe. Also plenty of small birds around outside make for a lovely atmosphere.

Unfortunately this place that used to be so lovely just isn't anymore. I had an awful experience today with a very rude member of staff and am regretting spending my money there today. I should have walked out! A once loyal customer but won't be back. Sad that it's turned this way!

I came here with my family for lunch before a walk. I have an assistance dog (he wears a vest and lead to state as such), my mum took him over to the table so that I could carry the tray of food over. A waitress went over to my mum and said ?you can?t have dogs in here?, my mum responded ?he is an assistance dog?, at which point I came over and heard the rest of the conversation. The waitress then said ?it doesn?t matter, we don?t allow dogs in here?, so my mum politely explained the law to her. She then muttered under her breath about how she would need to check with her supervisor and left. Not once did she come back and apologise for the way she spoke to us, nor did her supervisor. I?m really disappointed by the lack of education and the lack of consideration for disabled people. I spent the rest of the meal feeling very anxious and uncomfortable, I would?ve expected an apology after being spoken to so rudely. After this, my family and I entered the farm shop and were again approached by a staff member asking if my dog was an assistance dog, at which point I directed them to both the lead and the jacket which he wears to prevent me from having to have these altercations. It?s a shame that the staff were so rude as the location is great.
