I happened to pass by this particular and friendly store.I was traveling to the Highlands and stopped at this place. I tried two or three violins there and the owner was attentive but also very discreet! It was a brief and pleasant meeting. A great memory!

The store specializes in used violins and other string instruments. However, Bob also has a wide variety of very interesting antiques. We visited right after the coronation weekend, and we were interested in finding souvenirs from previous coroations to go with the souvenirs we had for this coronation.We found a few great items at a more than fair price.Bob is very friendly, we stayed and talked to him and he had some great stories about being a detective and meeting Johnny Cash at the store.Bob said he really likes Americans for how they helped Scotland and all of Britain in WW2. What can I say, we're pretty great ?????????????

I?d give Zero stars if I could, my partner and son popped in today as they where at the winter festival I was working and when my 7 year old autistic son who had fallen in love with the items on display asked him where he got all his amazing items, the worker gave him a disgusting look and turned away and ignored him! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a grown adult you should be ashamed of you?re behaviour! You also made them both feel very Unwelcome from the moment they walked in, yes we have visible tattoos and are an alternative family, but that gives no one the right to treat us or anyone that way, I?m not sure how you?re still in business when that?s how you treat potential customers!

STAY CLEAR DONT VISITVisited this store today and I would definitely not recommend the man in the shop was not a nice man he made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome and would not answer any questions we had about the history of some items in his store to only to be answered with a dirty looks from him don't waste you money in this place
