I went in for a book from a series I want to start and the staff member was so friendly and helpful. She recommended the best reading order for a better experience. I really appreciated it. I didn't get her name but I'm so glad I went in to get that book, because she really got me thinking more about the book series.

Cute little shop. Wonderfully helpful staff and great selection of upper level children's books. We found so many great titles that are unavailable in the USA. It's definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area.

Great selection of books. Very helpful staff, took my son so he could pick out Christmas gift he didn?t want me seeing. The lovely staff member help my son with his books. keeping them hidden and even helping him with checking out keeping it all a secret. Made my son?s day that he could do it all without my help and getting what he wanted. Thank you for being so helpful

What an incredible experience we had today in the Falkirk Waterstones. The lady was so wonderfully helpful, giving brilliant advice on a new genre I wanted to try. She was so knowledgable, so patient and wonderfully interesting. She then helped us out with a kids book I needed for family friend. Then - the ultimate icing on the cake - she showed us the magic Pokémon cupboard (my 8 year old?s eyes nearly popped out). This kind of customer service is exceptional and Waterstones should be very proud indeed to have such fantastic staff. This was the bookshop experience of legends.

I adore Waterstones. This is not my favourite Waterstones, though, even though this one is huge. As usual, it has got many books andlovely staff with great recommendations. But it did not have a couple of the books I was looking for.This store deserves its 5 stars thanks to the magnificent view of the Edinburgh Castle and the Queen Street Gardens from the coffee tables by the top floor windows. Do not miss it!
