Good store for all your needs. Lots of options and priced accordingly for the area. Avoid the SPAR in the area, they take full advantage of the location and tourists visiting.

I've been back in AGAIN over the yrs since it was built BUT this afternoon on Tue 28 th May 2025 I came to the check out and something happened that never happened to me b4 in the many supermarkets that I've been in.
The woman at the check out got off her seat & came round to help me unload my trolly ? & it wasn't to hurry me along as there wasn't a queue behind me & I appreciated that very much from her & SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENED.
After I wheeled my trolly ? [well lidl's ?] to my car ?,.. & removed the items from the ? into my ?,.. I went back into lidl's & said to that woman who was now away from the check out as to what her name was & it was & it was then that I saw it on her name tag MARGARET & there were 2 Margaret's on the check outs with the same name, SO I asked for her surname & it was Fyffe & I told her it was to put it into my review & that's where SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENED
& has never happened to me b4 in any supermarket - she gave me a cuddle & I thought ? that was very nice from a very pleasant check out lady.

Fantastic variety of products but felt under pressure to get through the tills as they only had two tills out of 6 open and it was quite busy. Lidl staff usually always manage it well

It is my experience that the quality of the products deteriorates from time to time. First of all, I am thinking of dairy products, vegetables, and meat products. Until now, the big shopping was here, now we only go for tissues and coffee. The staff is apathetic except for one or two people. The kind workers are gone.
