Excellent service from experienced and very helpful members of staff, they were so kind in advising me on paint colour, type and quantity needed and I really appreciated their valuable guidance. They also helped to source a clearance wallpaper for me which I love, this store is a hidden gem and I highly recommend a visit here to anyone in need of decorating materials and advice. Went in to get some advice and pick up tins of paint in colours we had already selected from the Dulux range, with products we want already in mind, complete with measurements of the areas we want to paint.
Right off the bat we were greeted with warm, friendly, and understanding service - they listened to what we had to say, understood the idea we had in our heads, and offered advice as to what products we should use while explaining clearly in layman's terms on why each product suits our needs, the drawbacks to it, and comparisons with other similar products to allow us to make very informed decisions on what to go with. When we had questions they where awensered professionally and in great detail to help us know more without overloading us with things that would not be relevant, and each time we had a thought, opinion, or request it was considered and taken into account if it made sense, or it was explained as to why it woudn't work in our space and why the other options suggested would so we could once again make informed decisions.
The entire experience was incredibly positive, refreshing, and informative. We felt in control every step of the way and never was a decision taken out of our hands - we where presented the facts and information, and it was up to us to decide what we felt comfortable with or to ask more questions and probe each option further to enable us to do so.
The paints we where given were of incredibly high quality. For first time painters like us, it was amazing that the paints given where also very forgiving, and the end result came out looking better than we could ever imagine. The colours are vivid, the application was easy, and we where armed with lots of good information to ensure we get the best result possible.
The only negative thing I can think of is incredibly minor and is very much us just nitpicking, but the quantities given did not always provide enough paint to complete the job. For reference, we purchased a 5L tin of living room Vynil Matt, 5L tin of celling Vynil Matt, 2.5L tin of kitchen Diamond Matt, 1L tin of woodwork High Gloss, and a 10L tub of Contract Matt. Of those, we had to buy a second 10L tub of Contract Matt as we ran out, the 2.5L tin of kitchen paint only had enough to complete a second coat on a single wall, and the celling paint had just enough for both coats but only due to us applying an extremely thin first coat. Of the others, the living room paint was enough for both coats plus a third on a problem wall, and there's about half a tin of the woodwork paint left even after 2 solid coats. My suggestion for next time would be to up the amounts slightly on the tins that we ran out of by overestimating the size of the room by a small amount, as it's always better to have more than not enough, but again this is a very minor issue and it still ended up looking fantastic.
Overall, we are incredibly pleased with the end result and with the amazing service we where given, and there's not a single doubt in my mind that when we decide to pick the rollers back up and paint some more, we will happily return to this store knowing full well that the service we will receive is 5 star, the advice we will be given will be helpful, the quality of product and service is exceptional, and the end result will be perfection.

Top class, shout out to Debbie, went in with colour in my mind and she put me onto another recommendation. It?s brilliant, even the wife likes it, and pleasing my wife takes some doing!
Great customer service, great knowledge and a welcoming atmosphere. Don?t waste your time in the normal diy shops head here you won?t be disappointed

Not all Dulux paint is the same, if you're looking for the good stuff you'll only get it in a Decorator Centre. Much better quality and choice than you'll get in a DIY store. Yes the paint is a bit dearer, but it goes further, so you pays your money and makes your choice. Another good thing is that the colour code is on the tin do you can always guarantee a colour match.
