I have been using Ebbcarrs Cafe in St Abbs harbour for many years but my most recent visit I was a little underwhelmed by my favourite on the menu Cullen Skink. The volume of potato had increased hugely but unfortunately in proportion to the reduction in the amount of fish.
I was nice to see a selection of local brewery bottled ales available to consume on premises but not available for takeaway.
The panini's appear to have reduced in quality and that was disappointing.
The popularity has not wained at the weekend but is does benefit from a monopoly on the harbour front.

Ebbcarrs Cafe is such a seaside gem! The view is lovely, but the real star is the food. Their lobster and crab duo baguette is unbelievably fresh?sweet, tender, and packed with flavor, like the ocean on a plate. Paired with the relaxed coastal vibe, it?s the perfect stop for a leisurely bite by the sea. Friendly service, fresh seafood, and a great atmosphere?what more could you ask for?

St Abbs has many secrets, Ebbcarrs Cafe js on of them. We just came back from a full walk around St Abbs Head/Coldingham and this Cafe is a must go after the trip. Great service and food. Highly recommended ?

Great wee spot. Friendly staff and a surpringly varied menu for a small place. Cake selection good too, and they were helpful with feeding three kids.

Quaint and quirky. Quick, friendly service, delicious homemade cakes. Recommend the banoffee pie!

Very busy little place. The food is superb, the cheese and haggis panini is fantastic but try the caramel shortbread with its thick chocolate top that snaps like it should do.
Dogs are welcome outside only, and so, on a good day you might find it packed outside but plenty of room inside (upstairs)

An Oasis at St Abbs harbour.
Fresh seafood, the crab and lobster baguette duo is a must have with your flat white or cappuccino.

unfortunately a little disappointing. for the mixed seafood salad you get three small morsels of finely chopped seafood. we thought it would be whole seafood. and the crab was unfortunately bitter. the banoffe cake though was excellent!

If you're visiting the area around Eyemouth East Scotland, you must visit St Abbs & eat @ebbcarr's cafe:)
