I ordered the rump steak with haggis mash, my other half had haddock and chips ? wow is all I can say, absolutely amazing food, lovely staff serving, will definitely be back, when we are up this way again

Nice quiet and cheap hotel, perfect for our one night stay but would happily stay longer. Room was clean, no hassle with staff or noise. Ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was delecious and super well priced. My steak pie just fell apart was so tender. If i had to critique one thing its that the decor hasnt been updated in a while but thats no reason not to stay here!

The rooms are tasteful, comfortable and clean.
The evening meal we had was beautifully cooked, delicious - excellent. Breakfast was fabulous too.
The staff are all friendly, helpful and do their jobs very well. They are all smiling, calm, and helpful even when it was extremely busy!!
Would definitely return here.

We dropped in here for some food whilst road tripping around,
Staff were lovely and very welcoming, food was delicious amd freshky cooked.
Salmon was lovely as was the fish and chips.
We didnt stay the night so cant comment on the rooms, but the food and service i would highmy recommend

Very friendly staff also warm and welcoming the rooms are a bit dated and could do with upgrading however still comfy enough and breakfast is tasty with a good selection of cereal fruit juice and a wide selection for a cooked choice and fresh coffee so all in all a good place to stay or just for food

Stopped in for food and drinks with some biker mates. Great staff and joined in on the pub quizzing one night with my long lost adopted looking son.

My 'local' for the past week while I was staying nearby. A good no-frills pub serving good ales and good food in either the restaurant or bar. Friendly staff too.

Staying at the Campsite next door & ordered Takeaway food.
It was all freshly cooked. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We had Fish & Chips & Scampi & Chips.
Staff were very friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable too.
Definitely would go back.

Just visited for a couple of drinks. Decent selection of beers, less so, wine. Service was a bit slow but the barman seemed to be on his own, checking in hotel guests at the same time. Decent pub, with pool table and as a southerner cheap prices. Several people were eating, the food looked good with decent portions. No doubt we will visit again.
