The fish and chips were great- fresh, perfectly cooked, and well portioned, so no probs at all about the food. However, our arrival was marred by an unexpectedly abrupt reception. We were ?told off? for not advising in advance that we?d be bringing a dog, as the dog-friendly section was full, and were asked to come back later. While I understand there may be limited space, the manner in which it was communicated felt unnecessarily sharp. For a venue that advertises itself as dog-friendly, there was no clear information beforehand that prior notice was required. A shame, as the food was great, but the initial welcome left us feeling unwelcome.

Grabbed a pint after a swim. They have their own brand of lager id highly recommended it, ? the views are outstanding as well, also all the staff I spoke to were very polite and friendly.

We visited on 15th October; the location is great and the kitchen staff were really helpful. Unfortunately the barman who served us soured our experience. He was unhelpful and abrupt and we later discovered had added a discretionary service charge to our bill (bar service) without letting us know.

Popped into this dog friendly pub for a quick cappuccino and couldn't resist trying the Lemoncello Tiramisu. Absolutely gorgeous and to have a proper log fire to warm us up was a bonus.

Great improvement on our last visit (a few years ago). Good food but a bit pricey. Good, friendly service. To park, drive to the end of the street and do a U turn.

beautiful setting having a lovely meal watching the sun go down.
Can be a little pricey for certain items but the food is of very high quality and presented well.
Choice of wine and beers is excellent.
Overall a lovely venue to eat or to just enjoy the entertainment.
