However, the ideal car was found on the web site but it was unfortunately 8 hours drive away from my home, so there was little chance of getting to Elgin to inspect the car and I relied totally on this family run garage to answer my questions and ensure the car was up to scratch. John, the owner, explained that there reputation relied on them being accurate in the description as they didn’t want to arrange a delivery and then have it returned because it was not as described. I am glad to say that I was not disappointed, the car was everything if not better than I expected. The garage had thoroughly inspected the vehicle, gave it a full service and replaced components that didn’t meet their standards, in my case the brakes, discs and tyres. John also arranged for the car to be brought down to Carlisle so I could pick it up, a round trip of 8 hours for one of his team. The car was excellent, not a mark on it. Moreover, the service and help I received was excellent throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, if you are fortunate enough to find a car being sold by Elgin Autos, I can assure you that you will receive customer service that is second to none.”
