It was a trickier job than it first appeared (not just cosmetic on the outside as I thought, but internal damage to fixings after a deer strike) and needed new bodywork as well as repairing the damaged bonnet and paintwork. “i attended the Elgin branch of National Windscreens on the 4th of March as i had a cracked windscreen. I parked the car outside Unit 6, The Wards ,Elgin and was met by a young man who confirmed the the replacement windscreen was in stock. On handing him the keys to my vehicle he informed me that the job would take about 2.5 hours and that he would phone me when it was ready for collection. I had a message to collect from a shop in the area and he directed me to it. There were few places open because of covid so it was a long time to put in wandering about. True to his word he called exactly 2.5 hours after me handing him the keys of my vehicle. He invited me to inspect my vehicle to make sure it had not sustained any damage whilst in the workshop. He also took time to explain to me about the technique used to get the windscreen fitted and also how to calibrate the camera built into the windscreen. My experience with dealing with National Windscreens in Elgin can only be described as first class thanks to this young man. Well done young sir. “We had a great experience with them. Ingrid checked with us the day before that our arrangements were still as communicated. We were picked up from the airport on time by a friendly driver and taken to the motorhome collection. There was no extra charge for this service. We were shown round the vehicle thoroughly by Steve and given good tips of places to go. It was a good vehicle, no more than two years old. When we needed help with things in the first 24 hours, they were quick to respond. We are genuine clients and are not receiving any payment for this review. We intend to return and use Highland Motorhome Rental again.”
