We went in and it was heaving. My heart sank from previous experiences. However, the service we received from Lesi our waiter was 10/10. Super impressed by how polite and professional she was from beginning to end. Lovely energy and enthusiasm. The management team should not take her for granted because she is a credit to your restaurant. There were a couple of delays with the food but Lesi kept us up to date and made us feel looked after.
I mean it, some of the best service I?ve ever received. Lesi will go far.

It's a tradition for me the last day of staying in Edinburgh to have dinner at wagamama, i always liked their ramen, as i did this time, sadly the server that got our table, felt like a robot, always coming at our table while we were eating (rude) and asking stuff to us (again, while we were eating) almost like reciting a script, i know he was trying to be friendly but, my guy, that is not the way.. when he was taking the order he didnt wrote down mine (i know that i speak english fine) i guess i lost his attention for a moment , so i had to wait after my friend got hers. He was very eager to get a feedback so there you go Zlatin i left a little tip just because the girl that brought me the POS was supersweet

I really liked the establishment. The open kitchen, where you can watch the process of preparing dishes. Despite the fact that we forgot or missed items in our order, this did not in any way affect the impression of the establishment - the veal salad was magnificent! An explosion of flavors!

Staff where great a credit to the service industry. The ramen disappointing very bland and not much beef,tbh wetherspoons does a better 1.ive lived in Asia for 10 years so I know.at 17.50£ I felt blagged.the place was lovely well set out and clean.should have got the katsu that looked great

I recently visited Wagamamas on Lothian Road with my daughter and had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Ollie. We ordered quite a few sides and that was more than enough! We usually visit the one at St Andrews square but the food quality and service was just as brilliant? Will definitely come back again, thank you again Ollie!

Well, where to start. Went in spontaneously on the way home at 9:15 p.m.
The menus were first handed to us as we were brought to the table. Before we even sat down, let alone took off our jackets, the head waiter (?) explained to us the ?concept? of the restaurant and what was NOT available. He talked incredibly fast and pointed to about 5-8 dishes on the menu that they no longer had.
Ordered food, appetizer came before drinks. But still within limits. Edamame delicious (£4.90 - portion good), wok fried greens taste great for £5.70 but an absolute joke in terms of size, Yasai gyoza vegetarian tastes good (5 pieces - overpriced)
While we were still with the starters, waiter No. 1 asked us if we still needed our sauces etc. box, we said yes.
The main course came separately, a few minutes apart?uncomfortable for those who have to eat alone?
Tofu raisukaree £13, taste more like a 3/10? a shame. Portion ok
Kare ouroso £14.20 portion tastes ok, only edible with a lot of soy sauce
I asked for no chili... it was still there, spicy yes taste rather no
While we were eating, waitress 2 came and asked again about the sauces etc. regarding clearing up, at this point it was twenty to 10... according to Google they close at 10 p.m.... but no restaurant closes at that time but stops serving... this one takes that probably a little too serious...
Atmospherically, such behavior urges you to leave the store as quickly as possible - but definitely not to come back.
As we were putting on our jackets, someone with a cleaning bucket was standing behind us and more or less said goodbye with an impatient ?Bye.?
What a disappointment! £54 for such an experience? thanks but no thanks!

honestly the worst ramen and soba noodles i've ever had. flavorless ramen, driest soba noodles. got charged £5 for water and charged for extra sauce (?!) to make it edible (and wasn't informed that it would cost extra)
the sauce didn't help anyway. 1st and last time trying wagamama.

My first time at wagamamas, my partner has been loads before. Loved the food and the drinks asahi is top notch on draught.
Seba is a great server too very kind and helpful 10/10 would be served again

Wagamamas is my go to place when I visit the city. No need to book as it?s first come first served, The food is excellent and service is quick and friendly. Definitely worth a visit
The kids are vegetarian and plenty of choice for them.
